He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. 2026 Highlights: Yesef Y. Cordero earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and was selected as a Fellow of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. He later served in the Cabinet of the Government of Puerto Rico as Secretary of Housing and Administrator of the Public Housing Administration. Yesef Y. Cordero also held the position of Deputy Administrator of the Government Employees’ Retirement System. He built a distinguished career in public service through leadership roles focused on housing, public administration, and government operations."
