Xiomara and her team were fantastic to work with, from start to finish. They were always completely professional, and accurate with their projections of timelines, deliverables, and expectations. Xiomara was friendly and open to all of our requests - she listened to what we wanted out of our project and did everything possible to make it happen. And she was upfront and honest when things could not be done. Her work is very thorough and buttoned up so that the town and our contractors had everything they needed upfront from the plans provided by Paredes-Grube. We are thrilled with the final designs and results and I cannot recommend them enough, they are a stellar team to work with.

We had a fantastic experience working with Xiomara, Jeffery and the entire team at Paredes-Grube on our recent kitchen renovation. They took the time to understand our needs and goals with the kitchen, and worked to create something that truly “fit” with our 100-year-old home. Jeff is a true artist with a defined vision, yet simultaneously a pragmatist. He is masterful at focusing projects to achieve his clients’ aesthetic and lifestyle goals, while taking a long view of maintenance, value, and stewardship of budget. He is also a genuinely nice person and true pleasure to work with - receptive and collaborative, and directive when needed. While his contemporary new constructions are stunning, he also has a gift for evolving older spaces into new possibilities. For our project, Jeff maintained the foundational stylistic elements of a 1930s colonial house but expanded it into a new contemporary addition that reimagined our relationship to sunlight and the outdoors in all four seasons. His philosophy of design celebrated both the original story of the house and the opportunities of newly imagined spaces, creating a wonderful new environment to live and work in. We learned about Jeff from a Sunday New York Times article and reached out to see if had availability for our project. He readily answered our call, patiently guided us through a nuanced design phase, and recommended a wonder contractor (who then landed us on Season 46 of This Old House!) Five stars. Highly recommend and we would count ourselves absurdly lucky if we got to work with him again.
