Pethel Designs

When we decided to permanently move to our house at the lake, we determined that since we basically live one one level, more space would be needed on that level to make it more suitable for long term living. Having never undertaken a project such as this and having considerable knowledge of the experience of Mr Pethel, we contacted Pethel Designs for advice. We liked the fact that he had years of experience on the construction side before moving full time into design and that gave us confidence that he could come up with a suitable design to accommodate everything we needed while giving us the best idea of cost for the project. Mr Pethel made a site visit, came up with a starting point and quickly accommodated our desired changes. Through several iterations, he offered a great deal of ideas and suggestions for different things that never would have occurred to us. Needless to say, we are extremely pleased with the outcome and are very much enjoying not only the new space, but also the many compliments we have received from our neighbors. We highly recommend Pethel Designs.

Mr. Pethel was so easy to work with. I decided to take the task of building a house from the ground up. The first step is getting plans. I chose to contact Pethel Designs through their website "contact us" form. Within one hour, he was calling me about my inquiry. We spent several minutes discussing my plans and what I needed to do. At the time, I hadn't fully decided to go through with the project. After the first call, I felt like if I chose to go through, Pethel Designs would work for me. Every call and email we had was in a timely manner. Every detail we discussed was how the business was done from cost to work process. Working with a new person can bring some hesitation. That feeling was soon but a distant memory. Every contractor to whom I sent the plans to had nothing but positive things to say about the quality of the work and plans. Really makes the building process simple and easy with good-quality plans. I will be posting pictures of the house once built. Looking forward to working with Mr. Pethel again soon!
