A nice, laid back diner with good food and fast service. I had the gator tail appetizer and it was a good balance of fried but not greasy, juicy but not soggy, and the dipping sauce was really good; the meat itself was tender and tasted great. For my meal I got the grilled salmon with cheese grits and green beans. The green beans were unremarkable but enjoyable, cooked with ham to add a bit more flavor. The cheese grits were fantastic - the first time in my life I haven't had to add anything at all to restaurant grits! And the salmon came on a nice bed of rice which absorbed the juice and made for a fantastic pairing with the fish. The salmon itself was cut steak style with visible grill markings and a nice light barbeque flavor. It was tender and juicy just like the gator and had just the right amount of seasoning. The hush puppies were crispy, hot, and tasty.

Went for lunch and got the pollock and shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. They have great corn nuggets and cheese grits. Be sure sure to ask for extra ranch - it is the best I’ve had at any restaurant. We go back every few months and order the fried shrimp!!!!! They also cook a good steak too.

My wife and I went here for lunch. The staff was super friendly and helpful . The food was delicious. I will definitely be back. We had the fried shrimp, chicken tenders, okra, cheese grits, and the corn nuggets as an appetizer. It was all delicious. The peanut butter pie is also amazing.
