Great food, great experience. Be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth it! Oceanic has it's own dock, so take a stroll out there or along the beach while you wait. The views within the restaurant are amazing too, with a full 180? view of the beach and pier. Try the she-crab soup, a specialty of this restaurant that's been around forever! Oceanic has not only some of the best tasting seafood in NC, but it is definitely the freshest. We got the platters with Shrimp & Oysters. Pure delight! For apps we got the calamari & chili shrimp - EXCELLENT. The food literally tastes so fresh like the fisherman just pulled it out the sea! Staff was so kind & sweet! ....let me NOT forget the 2nd floor seating with 360 beach views . Wilmington best!

Loved this place! Great atmosphere, the food was delicious, the service was superb, and the drinks were great. It was very hot but we got some nice breezes outside to make it pleasant. I would highly recommend Oceanic and we hope to be back soon!
