I started yoga at Above & Beyond in November of 2020 and i can’t imagine being anywhere else. Shoshana, the owner, has been one of the biggest inspirations in my life, and her experience and knowledge is unmatched. There is something special about this space and the community is one of support, love, and honesty. Shoshana lives up to the name of this business by going Above and Beyond for every individual that enters this studio. I originally started practicing yoga to help with my stress levels and I’m proud to say that it has completely turned my life around in the best possible way. I truly believe that Above & Beyond is making a positive impact in this world.

My husband and I moved to Mobile just under a year ago, and we were very nervous about finding a new yoga studio we loved. Then we found Above and beyond, and it has become one of our favorite places in town! The space is so clean, well-thought out, and relaxing. We also love the instructors. Regularly attending classes at above and beyond has had a significant positive impact on my physical and mental wellness. So thankful for this place.

Love love love the salt room! My daughter hasn’t had to use her inhaler in over a year! The benefits are not just for respiratory issues, it helps with eczema and I love that my toddler can come in for free with us. They even have sand toys for him to play with! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

VILLAGE YOGA REVIEWS

I love this place. I have quite a few lingering injuries from playing football that different forms of exercise exacerbated and made worse. Yoga is basically the only form of exercise I can do that my joints don’t regret the next day. The staff and community here are excellent and a bonus to the many physical and mental benefits I’ve received from practicing yoga! I love this place and recommend it to anyone interested in trying yoga or experienced yogis. The classes are challenging but also very welcoming and accommodating to all experience levels.

Love Village Yoga! Excellent instructors and great atmosphere. Happy 4th Birthday to Village Yoga!! Mobile is lucky to have such a great studio. Thank you Carlye Waters for all your hard work to make Village Yoga a reality.

I love the yoga at Village! The instructors are welcoming and very knowledgeable. And the yoga classes are top notch. Highly recommend.

KINDRED YOGA REVIEWS

I cannot say adequately how wonderful it has been to practice yoga at Kindred, so conveniently located in Midtown. The instructors are all terrific, and they each bring to the studio a unique perspective and style of teaching. The classes are diverse and the curriculum well-balanced, hosting athletic power classes and nourishing restorative sessions alike. Experienced yogis and new students both will feel welcome and engaged at Kindred. The studio itself is lovely and lush with plant life, and the heating technology is pleasantly effective when used during the power yoga classes. (How convenient that the studio offers complementary towels for cooling and drying off.) We all could use to breathe deeper and find in our bodies buoyancy, healing, and a bit more grace. I can promise you'll find just this on your mat at Kindred Yoga.

Katie Holbrook, Elizabeth, Becca and among many others teaching at kindred are an absolute grace. Would highly recommend to anyone who’s willing to put in mindfulness for themselves. The wisdom and patience that is continuing from all of this is amazing. Thank you guys for you.

Such a beautiful space, and the best instructors! They are all so welcoming and inclusive, and offer so many tips to make poses work for wherever you are in your yoga practice. It’s been a while since I’ve attended a yoga class, and I left feeling so relaxed and energized at the same time! So excited to have Kindred in Midtown.
