Thank goodness for Monterey Community Acupuncture! I came to Sharon for help with my chronic neck and back pain/tension, stress and trouble sleeping, and I am amazed at how effectively she has been able to help me. I get woozy around needles at the doctor, but the tiny needles Sharon uses are completely different and painless. During treatments I always fall into a deeply relaxed state and feel so much better afterwards. I am so thrilled that at Monterey Community Acupuncture's rates I can afford to come in as often as I need.

Sharon + staff are super. Affordable, clean, professional. Cozy. The beds (if you happen to be blessed enough to secure one) are heated! She knows exactly what you need and I usually fall into a deep, restorative sleep when there. She is gentle w/her needling and is very comprehensive. Her care goes beyond the needles. Her bedside mannerism is also caring and professional. She also knows when to make the right jokes. But, don't tell her you eat McDonalds. Kidding. She can tell you do by the look of your tongue ;) I have saved thousands of dollars and my liver from being a regular patient. My migraines have gone away from seeing her.

I've visited over the years several acupuncturists and Sharon is the best by far out of a talented group. She takes time to talk to you and always give great advice based on her deep knowledge of Chinese Medicine. I love the chaise lounge chairs, all you are missing is a beverage to make you feel like you're at the beach. Being athletic, acupuncture is the best to maintain optimum performance. Highly recommend.
