LIFE CHALLENGE OF AMARILLO REVIEWS

I was a student at LC for 367 days. This is the mechanism God used to completely turn my life around. It was the hardest and best thing I've ever been a part of. Praise God for this ministry. I've seen with my own eyes and felt with my own soul the redeeming power of Christ. He infiltrated every aspect of my being, and He wants to do the same for everybody....if you will let Him. I was a full blown pill addict for a decade. I've been clean for almost 9 years now. I have a career, a marriage, a family, and most importantly a new identity in Christ Jesus. All of this had it's genesis at Life Challenge. Please surrender your life to Him!! Legalism never saved anyone. The Law doesn't save, it points to He who saves... Jesus and His Gospel.

Life challenge is a Christian based ministry to help men learn how to win any sin battle through Christ by submitting to Him and His word. The people and the leaders give their time and love in submission to what Christ has asked of them. Success will come to those who accept Christ as their savior and fully submit to His will for their life, follow the guidelines and learn to live for Christ fully by dying to self and living for Christ, minute by minute of each day with constant confession, prayer and repentance when they stumble. I have been a part of Life Challenge ministry for the past six months. I have seen men come here that were not really ready to surrender their will to God and thus did not last. I have seen others come in with the same addictions and struggles but had gotten to the point in their life that they understood they could not make the changes on their own and were done playing games. I know who runs that place. She can turn the worst into the best. If she had any clue that I was married with a step son who calls me dad and I run a battery store. Before I met these people. I was a homeless crackhead at best who put my mother in the hospital with a broken heart and a sister who still wont talk to any of us But I can honestly say I know peace and happiness that I could not have gotten without someone telling me it's up to me to make my life. Absolutely no one cand do anything for you but you! Unless I accept myself for what I am.... If you read this hawk. I love you and thank for giving me a life.

I am in recovery myself, and know of 3 people who graduated the program, who have over 4 years clean and sober, and at least 5 with over 1 year clean and sober! Cenikor provides a foundation for lasting recovery, which is VITAL to success. Sometimes, when things get rocky, the strength of the foundation truly makes a difference. I’m grateful for Cenikor and what they do. As a local of Amarillo, I know how much this place has BEEN NEEDED!! Thank you for helping fight this monster of a disease.

Cenikor is having a positive impact on our community. I’ve seen so many many lives changed as a result of Cenikor. Highly recommend for someone going through struggles with their substance use disorder.

I am grateful this place was here for me but honestly the only other place where I was subjected to medical personnel being this completely inept and unprofessional...and ghetto was in prison!! The doctor who runs this place seriously needs to revamp his entire staff with the exception of Doctor Mason who is an absolute wonderful man!! So prepare yourselves these nurses are miserable, unprofessional, ghetto, gossipping rejects and act accordingly. Frankly I would rather have a lobotomy with a rusted salad fork as to EVER have to deal with them again!!!! For real y'all.

Addiction Recovery and counseling. Very helpful, knowledgeable and affordable. This is a MMT. A methadone maintenance treatment program, when done and followed a MMT is a life saver to those suffering from the medical chronic disease of addiction. This is the only one in the Texas panhandle. Those who write negative post are usually not following the program and not ready for recovery. The nurses are very knowledgeable and caring.

Very supportive environment, the team offered practical advice that helped me manage my challenges and improve my recovery process effectively.
