LIFE CHALLENGE OF AMARILLO REVIEWS

I was a student at LC for 367 days. This is the mechanism God used to completely turn my life around. It was the hardest and best thing I've ever been a part of. Praise God for this ministry. I've seen with my own eyes and felt with my own soul the redeeming power of Christ. He infiltrated every aspect of my being, and He wants to do the same for everybody....if you will let Him. I was a full blown pill addict for a decade. I've been clean for almost 9 years now. I have a career, a marriage, a family, and most importantly a new identity in Christ Jesus. All of this had it's genesis at Life Challenge. Please surrender your life to Him!! Legalism never saved anyone. The Law doesn't save, it points to He who saves... Jesus and His Gospel!

Life challenge is a Christian based ministry to help men learn how to win any sin battle through Christ by submitting to Him and His word. The people and the leaders give their time and love in submission to what Christ has asked of them. Success will come to those who accept Christ as their savior and fully submit to His will for their life, follow the guidelines and learn to live for Christ fully by dying to self and living for Christ, minute by minute of each day with constant confession, prayer and repentance when they stumble. I have been a part of Life Challenge ministry for the past six months. I have seen men come here that were not really ready to surrender their will to God and thus did not last. I have seen others come in with the same addictions and struggles but had gotten to the point in their life that they understood they could not make the changes on their own and were done playing games. My Next Step is a wonderful program that helped save my life. They taught me that you can live a wonderful, fun and fulfilled life. My Next Step is run by people that are completely filled with love and compassion. I could never thank them enough to just always be there with open arms, love and guidance whenever you need them or didn't know you needed them. These are absolutely amazing human beings and provide an astounding establishment for help. Thank you My Next Step!

My next step absolutely changed my life for the better!!! I started the program in April and today I have 8 months and 28 days clean and sober….! I can’t find the words to explain the staff…..they were exactly what I needed when I needed and I owe my life to them! I could write pages about my experience with My Next Step; If you want something better in life and an extended family that will walk with you and give you the love and support while holding you accountable; to get you there… then I only recommend MY NEXT STEP! It truly works IF YA WORK IT!!!

I highly recommend My Next Step. I truly believe my son's life was saved because of this place. When we went in for the first appointment, I was impressed with the inviting atmosphere, the friendly receptionist and then of course, Eric Hammer who "got on my son's level". He made us both feel comfortable and at ease, which made therapy so much easier for my son. Now, my son is doing great and I owe a huge thank you to My Next Step!!!!

I know who runs that place. She can turn the worst into the best. If she had any clue that I was married with a step son who calls me dad and I run a battery store. Before I met these people. I was a homeless crackhead at best who put my mother in the hospital with a broken heart and a sister who still wont talk to any of us But I can honestly say I know peace and happiness that I could not have gotten without someone telling me it's up to me to make my life. Absolutely no one cand do anything for you but you! Unless I accept myself for what I am.... If you read this hawk. I love you and thank for giving me a life

I am in recovery myself, and know of 3 people who graduated the program, who have over 4 years clean and sober, and at least 5 with over 1 year clean and sober! Cenikor provides a foundation for lasting recovery, which is VITAL to success. Sometimes, when things get rocky, the strength of the foundation truly makes a difference. I’m grateful for Cenikor and what they do. As a local of Amarillo, I know how much this place has BEEN NEEDED!! Thank you for helping fight this monster of a disease!!!!
