I can’t thank the team enough and especially Dr.Throop. I was in and out of rehabs for years in my younger years and even told I would die by other counselors at said rehabs. After a stent of sobriety I messed up bad and was depressed to no end. Thankfully through a random friend I found this amazing clinic. The team from the greeters to the nurses, the pharmacist, and especially the psychiatrist have put me on a sober path that has led me to one of the happiest times in my life. Even after a separation and split custody of the kids even they can see how much happier I am. I owe my life and 3.5 yrs of sobriety and counting to this amazing place and people. Special thanks to Dr. Throop for helping me keep a level head and showing me life is amazing after we begin to recover. From the bottom of my heart if you are struggling this amazing team will show you all the good sober living has to offer. It may not always be easy but life rarely is… but the ease is 100 fold when your mind is not clouded and surrounded by people that will cheer you on no matter what life throws at you. I will say that. Success is more obtainable with ARCA and worth the alternative by light years!

I am a recovering IV heroin addict, I have struggled with maintaining sobriety and managing bipolar and anxiety. I have been going here for a few years now and I have been able to stay clean with MAT and consistently manage my mental health. I have seen a few different providers in my time there but they have all been amazing! I feel heard and safe and every there has your best interest in mind. I look forward to my appointment every month. Everyone from the receptionists to the pharmacy and providers are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for these great people . After twenty years of opiate /heroin addiction I'm almost two years with absolutely no opiates ! They saved my life . No withdrawals!!

This place has the most amazing, understanding, caring, just indescribable people here. I cant put into words or come close even to the way this place helps EVERYONE no matter what the situation. They really and truly are non judgmental and when u see them wearing shirts that say i love addicts they are not making that up. That is as true as it gets. I love and respect and am so thankful that they are here. They definitely remind us addicts that not everyone in the world that is clean and doing the opposite things we are doing are looking down and judging us just at first glance even. They remind me personally that i am still human and they will never just "write me off" or be done with me!!! From bottom of my heart I truly and deeply love the people here.

I didn't know this place out it's resources existed until about 6 months ago... I have been shown nothing but the kindest, caring, and compassionate human interactions that I didn't know existed for struggling addicts. Cory and Pam probably will never know it but they have honestly saved my life... just by asking me "how are you today?" Or "we're glad you're here" Pam is someone who really, truly cares about people. I feel like I could tell her anything. Cory is like the older brother I've always wanted. . . Their hearts are really in it and it shows, to me anyway... Harm reduction is really their passion. I respect them and this facility so much. If I don't make it to the other side and get clean I just want you guys to know how much you've impacted my life. X-Thank you-B

I have ordered free narcan to pass out to my community twice from here. The second time they sent me 48 units of narcan, and backpacks with educational material stuffed in them. ALL FOR FREE!! I plan to add a couple of personal items such as water bottle and toiletries and snacks to each of these backpacks. My community and I are very thankful that they are doing these things. Narcan is something that should be accessible to anybody and it shouldn't be as expensive as it is in most places.

I was a client of the S.T.A.I.R.S. intensive inpatient program at Harris House. I found the program of educational groups, exposure to 12 step meetings and talk therapy in an environment that promotes "Recovery With Responsibility" gave me the tools to get my life back. I am grateful for the program and staff at Harris House and would recommend it to anyone considering an inpatient treatment facility.

I would recommend the Harris House for anyone trying to stay sober. Best drug rehab I've been through. This place offered me space I could learn an grow as an individual through counselling, classes an small groups, they gave me tools to stay sober that I have never received before. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, an always there to provide support when needed. They gave me the things I had lacked in my life so that I could stay sober. They taught me sobriety was a lifestyle change and that I was the chooser of my destiny. I will always be grateful for the Harris House.

I was there about 2 years ago and it was amazing. I gained so much knowledge (and pounds) doctors, staff, cafeteria….. sweet as can be.
