Connecticut Center for Recovery is a great treatment facility, and program, methodically structured to more accurately emulate the real world outside of a treatment facility, while retaining a controlled environment. The specific treatment groups allow you to open up to your peers with similar struggles, as well as counselors who understand your struggles, and help guide you toward improvement. The activities such as an opportunity to visit the gym everyday, as well as efforts to provide and lead you towards a balanced diet and healthy habits allow you to reconnect with your healthy state of being, and build healthy habits to continue with. The regimented structure of the program is highly beneficial for building and maintaining a healthy mode of living, and make the transition back to regular life easier than other treatment programs without much routine.

The program at the Connecticut Center for Recovery is amazing. With the support and help of their talented clinicians, I was able to regain my confidence and control of my life. The clinicians and staff are both supportive and caring. The facilities are welcoming and create an atmosphere of recovery. Both the in-patient and extended out-patient programs helped me get on top of my issues and transition into a healthy lifestyle. I strongly recommend this program if you need to help.

This program is absolutely a life saver. From my admission date to my discharge I was treated with compassion and respect. The CCR staff and the RA's were top notch. The accommodations at the house were amazing. Group therapy and individual therapy gave me the tools to cope in the real world. I would reccomend this program to anyone with an addiction. I will miss everything about CCR!

If only this place had existed when I got out of rehab and was rebuilding my life, career and shattered home front, my recovery would have had a better foundation early on! And perhaps, things would have been easier for me? My reentry into life smoother, perhaps? Thankfully, 6 years later I’m still sober. And when I visit The Lighthouse regularly, to meet with these men who currently are where I was early on in recovery, I can see from the vast support, strong fellowship and frequent meetings, that these guys have the best possible chance at living sober, successful, and happy lives. The place is magical! And beautiful to boot.

As a physician that specializes in Addiction Medicine, it is critically important to have a team of non-clinician recovery professionals that you can trust. The Lighthouse is exactly that: a dignified, collaborative, empathic, mission-driven and highly-professional team that is truly committed to partnering with individuals and families in their recovery. For example, whether it was working late into the night with a client and their family to facilitate entrance into a detox, or accompanying an executive in a high-stakes situation, I have routinely seen Lighthouse recovery coaches go to extraordinary lengths to provide the individualized and high-touch support that is often paramount in early recovery.

Trey what you are doing is so valuable! If my first wife and my granddaughter had had the opportunity to be in The Lighthouse they might be with us today! Just being in treatment for one month does not get the job done... You are doing the job by helping them find long term recovery by providing The Lighthouse and your facilities.

I've been to several treatment centers on my path to sobriety. This is the only one that truly cared. The treatment they provide is what sets them apart from the other programs I went to. They even did some family counseling that helped my wife and I repair the marital damage that was done when I was drinking. Thank you Mountainside, Forever Grateful.

My coach is candid and helpful, they work hard and are always available. Proper recommendations, meets me where I'm at, and has good feedback. Very grateful.
