I went here for dinner on a Friday evening and had the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and a side salad. I had been craving some comfort food. Not only did the food hit the spot but my waitress, Joyous was the most attentive, caring and sweet girl! She smiled the whole time and you could just tell that she really loved her job and enjoyed helping customers. I will ask for her every time I go back! It was a great experience. Thank you, Joyous!.

Always gonna give them a 5 stars. So good! Always having the best experiences and great food. Going with friends and family has been a huge blessing. Love the staff and service here too!.

Super busy with graduation dinners, but the service was great and fast. The chicken fried chicken was delicious and the biscuits... amazing.

Came here for my birthday dinner! Made a reservation for the high top chairs having never been to the restaurant before. The high top chairs were very uncomfortable. They were unpadded wooden stools with a very low back. We asked if there was anywhere softer we could sit and they said there were all booked unfortunately. Overall, I wasn’t impressed by any of the entrees we ordered. The ahi tuna was fine and the chopped stake wasn’t what we were expecting. They also brought us out a poke bowl and when I said I didn’t order that the girl bringing it out didn’t believe me. she then checked our order and then took it back. She did apologize but it did rub me the wrong way. The one thing that was very good was the shrimp. It was also incredibly loud inside and hard to converse. I’m new to the Fort Worth food scene but I don’t think I could or will recommend this place to anyone.

Love a good restaurant with no seed oils. Our waitress Lauren was the absolute best. Lovely atmosphere, out door eating by the water with outdoor heaters & music. My twin & I just love it here it’s now our new go to. Recommended by our friend which she definitely informed us to let our waitress know know it’s our first time so we can get free queso & chips which is cashew dip so not actual cheese, it’s so good.

HG is one of our regular staples near downtown Fort Worth. It’s extremely consistent visit to visit. The food and drinks are great. If you catch them in happy hour, you’ve just hit the jackpot. It’s usually myself my husband and our two girls. The girls love the cheeseburger and fries. They crush them every time. Today we had the shrimp skewers, rice and zucchini for the first time. Us was delicious.

Lovely place for brunch, generous portion sizes. Great mimosa flight. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Though service seemed a bit slower out there. Also the sticky piggies are good but way over priced. Would definitely come back though and recommend to others. Also seems likes a great place to watch a game and just hang out. Oh and KILLER bathroom mirrors for a cute pic lol.

We come for Josieeeeeeee! Seriously, the food and atmosphere is amazing. We love feeling like we’re inside and outside at the same time. The food is amazing and the drinks are amazing. Josie is the best, best vibes, energy, and knowledge. She’s such a genuine person! Thank you all!.

One of the best places to go in the cultural district. Philly cheesesteak is sooooo good. I also love the shrimp and grits. If you come in for brunch, try the breakfast shot! It’s a pleasant surprise!!.
