Here's The Deal:
Strawn's Eat Shop was begun by Mr. Strawn in 1944 in Shreveport, LA, crossed from Centenary College. The Gauthier family (Buddy) bought Strawn's from its second owner, Gus Alexander, in 1988. Buddy quickly increased the accessible seating from 50 to 150+ people. Strawn's has featured in many publications, including Southern Living magazine and The Food Network. They are known nationwide for their strawberry icebox pie, and locals fondly refer to them as "that pie place," and Strawn's is one of the three most traditional establishments in the town of Shreveport at 76 years young. Whether you're looking for affordable lunch meals with co-workers, or in the mood for a relaxing dinner with family and colleagues, Strawn's Eat Shop's gives fabulous dining choices you'll love.
