3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Newark, NJ

Im writing on behalf of my relative who is a current resident, she is always telling me how much she enjoys her time there and the independence she has received from choosing Winchester Gardens. From the daily activities escpecially the Octoberfest that she praised to her dining experiences where the food served is New York restaurant quality. She is constantly praising how the management team escpecially Ted and Corey are so involved in the dining experience for the residents always being visible to assist in her personal needs. During the covid pandemic my loved one utilized the Stone Wall Market Place due to not being able to go shopping and everyone one of her needs were met by the culinary team. Lastly i must commend the maintenance of the grounds as well.

I love working at Winchester Gardens .. My fellow co-workers all work as a team.. Like a true family! My Boss Corey is great... He works with us ...helps in the kitchen & on the floor! That's a true Supervisor! .. He made my 2 months great so far. . EVERYONE HAS.

My wife and I have been residents at Winchester Gardens for going on two years and compliment ourselves on our choice. We've experienced continuing improvement in the selection and quality of food, while dining facilities have been substantially upgraded and expanded with additional dining choices due to open in the coming months. We've also made many new friends and truly enjoy our greatly expanded yet simpler and easier lifestyle.

My mother was in Fellowship for 4 years , first in Assisted Living , then in Memory Care. It was a positive experience at a difficult part of life. The staff was compassionate, warm and caring. They treated the residents like family. The facility was well maintained and clean. Medical care was easily accessible.

My mother has resided at Fellowship Village since 2018…initially in Independent Living, then in Assisted Living and now in Skilled Nursing. The Fellowship Team, and in particular Alex Trotta, have provided consistent, focused, thoughtful high quality care at every step of my mother’s journey. I could not imagine a better home for her.

My mother has been a resident of Fellowship in both Independent and Assisted Living for over a decade. She loves her life there. The facility is beautiful and well cared for; the dining options are varied - with the “bar” being her favorite ; the activities and opportunity to be involved with are plentiful; the residents are friendly ; but the staff sets Fellowship apart! They are caring, trustworthy and have always had her best interest at heart. I know that I can reach out to them with any questions / concerns and will have the addressed in a timely fashion. I would never hesitate to recommend Fellowship.
