Joyce and Chris take care of my elderly mother (Jeannine, 90 years old) like she is their family member. She has dementia and can be quite a handful at times but Joyce and Chris handle her with patience and much love. They celebrate the holidays with everyone in the household who wishes to participate and decorate their home like they are with family. They provide home cooked meals, hair cuts and wonderful pet therapy. My mother was in another well-known facility before this one and the other does not even compare with the love and compassion she receives here. I feel very blessed to have Chris and Joyce taking care of my mother and I feel she is as safe and secure as she can be. They are constantly updating and improving their home and they run a very clean, modern household. I would not want my mother anywhere but here. I recommend Joy of Living to anyone looking for a placement of their loved one where they will be treated like family versus just another client.

My mom stayed at Joy of Living, she had dementia, and Joyce and Chris did such a great job at taking care of my mom. They took care of her till her last breath. I am so glad mom ended up there. She was in a nice home, clean and safe, with people who made her feel like family. They showed her love and cared about her 100% and for me too. Thank you, Joy of Living!
