The Hot Bagel Shop

Nice little bagel shop in a great area. Was hungry for breakfast/lunch-ish and drove by this place. They close at 2pm and sell out of the most popular items, so go early! The loaded breakfast bagel is quite a mouthful and delicious! It’s a clean place, not very big. Parking out front of building is free. Parking: There is parking out front, if it’s busy (lunchtime), it could be difficult. Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all on street level. No steps!

The Hot Bagel Shop is one of my longtime Houston favorites. Love the bagels and assortment of cream cheeses. My favorite is cinnamon raisin; today I tried the homemade cinnamon cream cheese. One word - ! I’ve not had the kolaches, pizza, breakfast and lunch sandwiches but they look delicious! I’ll have to try those next time. Compared to a popular bagel chain, these folks are welcoming, efficient and so kind. There’s always a line but it goes fast. If bagels are your thing, give them a try!

I always enjoy stopping here for a breakfast sandwich, mini pigs in a blanket, and of course a variety of bagels. This place stays busy and it never disappoints. I’ve never been to stop by for lunch but would love to. Even though they are in high demand the wait time isn’t unreasonable. They get orders out quickly. An ideal bagel stop.
