"Brasserie 19 provides a memorable dining experience, combining traditional French brasserie style with American influences. Charles Clark and Grant Cooper are the owners of the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the River Oaks Shopping Center. Their menu features seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has grey and white marble decor and a simple, comfortable interior. Their popular dishes include oysters on the half shell, beef filet carpaccio, escargot, and caviar. Brasserie 19’s wine room is located at the back of the restaurant, with private bar access and can hold up to 40 seated guests or 50 standing guests for cocktails. They also offer an optional prix fixe menu service and wine pairings. Complimentary parking is also available, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Brasserie 19 also serves vegetarian dishes and great cocktails.

2026 Update: Michael Hoffman is the executive chef at Brasserie 19. The dining area features blue velvet seating, woven chairs, and white linen-covered tables, providing a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch. Group dining is available for parties of 11 to 20 people."

I had an absolutely fantastic dinner here. I sat in the enclosed outdoor patio, which has a nice romantic ambiance. There are also plenty of tables outside for a more casual experience. Service was exceptional; our waitress patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were stocked up on beverages. Food was excellent and filling. Obviously this is a pricier restaurant but the desserts were a generous size. This was a perfect date spot but I'll come back to check out the brunch as well.

The food was fresh the service was perfectly precise the atmosphere was very classic a nice romantic place.. to Dine! Afterwards movies and take a stroll around the near ice-cream or just lounge around..

Always a great place for lunch and the service is great! The atmosphere and lovely patio is one of the best on a good weather day.

Love, love Brasserie 19. I have been impressed since the day I stepped through the door—circa 2014? The food (yum French cuisine, salmon, and baked fabulousness) is amazing and the owner Charles rocks in charm, genuine concern, and raising the service bar. I recommend going solo or with a group to celebrate food, drinks and life. Bravo!

One of the most delicious dinners I have ever had in Houston, everything was exceptional. Ambiance was great, I’d love to come back on a nice day and sit on the patio. Escargot and dover sole were my favorites, and the espresso martini was a 10 out of 10!

I’ve been to B19 several times. Excellent bartenders and waitstaff. Food and drinks are perfect. Great atmosphere.

This was my first time at Etoile Cuisine and Bar, and I was thoroughly impressed! The staff was incredibly professional and polite, making me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. I decided to try their brunch menu, and it was an absolute delight. The dishes were not only exceptionally tasty but also beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The ambiance of the restaurant was truly delightful, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. I highly recommend Etoile Cuisine and Bar for brunch. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and a lovely atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to return to try their lunch and dinner offerings.

So glad to make it back in for the lunch hour, whether at noon or after dark the service is always top shelf here. We were all craving one of their delicious soups on a rare chilly day around here, and the onion soup and lobster bisque were both spot on. They have a well rounded and not too large menu which I prefer, and their quality of ingredients and presentation are on par w the price point. I want to try their Coq Au Vin next time to see how it compares to our family recipe… i saw it on another table and it looked great. Love the high ceilings and the not too big dining spaces for the more intimate feel at night, and not too noisy room for a classy business meal at noontime. Explore and enjoy!

Loved the food and service. Great ambience. Steak was juicy and sides were appealing. Fish was tasty with veggies on the side. Definitely going back.
