MASON DIXON BAKERY & BISTRO REVIEWS

Mason Dixon was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding caterer and baker! Our menu was a dream: the pear Gorgonzola salad was fresh and flavorful, the chicken marsala with mushroom cream sauce was perfectly cooked, and the grilled salmon with pomegranate glaze was a standout dish. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and decadent, and the green beans almondine added the perfect touch of elegance to the meal.

Our family loves coming here! Being gluten-free, I hadn’t had a fried chicken biscuit in over a decade. It was very good and filling. My favorite is the cinnamon rolls that my wife gets to bake at home…there truly is nothing else like them on the market that I’ve had! There is something on the menu for everyone in our family to enjoy.

Everything is amazing here but the cake pops were a HIGHLIGHT! They also have a ton of fun cupcake flavours! The food here is great, but I would definitely come back for the desserts.

I cannot say enough about this establishment: first class service, quality, and atmosphere are just the beginning. I feel as if I have never had a good croissant in my life before I tried L’Etoile. My favorites (and they are all tied for first place because there is no way to discern the best item in the display case): Koigne-Amman, quiche, pistachio choux. The owner takes time to greet customers regularly DURING service, everyone is so welcoming and willing to answer all my questions about items I am unfamiliar with, and the coffee menu is superb. L’Etoile is a Huntsville treasure, and I am a lifetime customer!

WOW-what a wonderful coffee and pastry shop. We enjoyed our food and coffee along with our conversation with the owner, Kevin. So personable and professional. We will definitely be back!! 100/10 recommend!

It smelled like heaven and the pastries looked divine! Saturday before Christmas and the Patisserie was packed with people waiting. It was our first visit, so I'm unsure if this is a daily occurrence.

Cute local spot! Brought my friend that visited from out of town and she LOVED the place. We did order a bunch of different items to try out. The savory Danish was a tad salter than we prefer, but it was still super delicious. My friend ordered a breakfast croissant and devoured it entirely (didn't expect to). The chocolate chip cookie was perfect snd the lemon blueberry cookie was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her Beach Bum coffee, and I enjoyed every sip of my vanilla latte! The cruffin was soooooo yummy: the filling was not too sweet and was supper light! I love this place!

During our first visit to Huntsville, my husband and I discovered a delightful bakery and coffee café that instantly became a favorite. This charming spot has the cozy and flavorful ambiance reminiscent of European cafés. The service was exceptional, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food and coffee were outstanding, each bite and sip a testament to quality and care. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere paired with delicious offerings. We’ll definitely be returning!

We picked this one bakery, based on reviews, for our breakfast stop before leaving town, and they did not disappoint! We got the daily cruffin, which was oreo cheesecake, two scones in bacon cheddar and honey cinnamon, a fudgey peanut butter dollop thing, and Americano to share.
