Came to this BBQ restaurant thru a recommendation of a colleague. Luckily we arrived before the dinner rush. Our waitress Sarah provided prompt and fast service. We ordered an assortment of BBQ meats and sides to share. The brisket, turkey, and pulled pork were good with or without BBQ sauce. The potato salad was decent, the coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, while the collard green had a nice savory bacon and tomato flavor with a little bit of spicy heat. The place is a definite gem of a place with a relaxing atmosphere.

Patty was the waitress and she was absolutely incredible and 5 stars across the board. The food was excellent and the collard greens were the best I have ever had and I am picky about my food especially collard greens. The brisket was tasty and super tender. The turkey was excellent also!!! Definitely recommend and ask for Patty if you go after 4pm.

Super friendly service and excellent BBQ, just as recommended to us by a local. Importantly for me, their sauce game is very good.

RUDY'S COUNTRY STORE AND BAR-B-Q REVIEWS

First time trying Texas BBQ and it did not disappoint. The brisket was juicy, tender and smoky. The pork ribs were mostly juicy with some of the thicker meats being a bit dry and not very much smokiness, but still good overall. My father in law enjoyed the turkey sandwich and my mother in law said that the chicken was nice and juicy. The BBQ baked beans had no BBQ in it so it was savory and not sweet, but still pretty good. The cream of corn also was not sweet at all, but also still pretty good. The restaurant was clean with a backyard type of ambience. Counter service was good, but lacked the country style warmth.

Great BBQ!!! The brisket sandwiches were delicious!! The pickles, fresh onion, and jalapeño added to the great flavors. The team at Rudy’s was all about creating great dinners.

A good choice if you are in the mood for some brisket. Most definitely the finest I've tasted so far. As a New Yorker this was definitely a treat for me.

Absolutely Fire If you looking for delicious BBQ at a reasonable price, then you found it. Because we wanted to taste a little bit of everything, we got the Family Style 4-meat, 4-sides. This was more than enough food for my party of three, but well worth the price. We got chopped and sliced brisket, pork belly and jalapeño cheddar sausage... mix that with their house BBQ sauce and Yum Sides were good too. We had pinto beans, corn, mac and cheese, and onion rings (not in photo because they came out fresh). All of these were tasty. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

We are visiting Lubbock & decided to grab lunch! Glad we did it was delicious. Staff was friendly and gave us great recommendations! Prices are great too.

We were just passing through Lubbock and from the highway I can smell how good the barbecue was smelling so I had to stop to see how good it tastes. The pork rib was cooked very tender and delicious. I also got the brisket mac & cheese which was also good. My daughter liked the Frito pie.
