3 Best Barbecue Restaurants in Roseville, CA

We have been enjoying to Back40 Texas BBQ for years! The resturant is a hidden gem located in Roseville, California and we love it! The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable, the staff are very attentive & professional and the food is excellent! My husband loves the prime rib and beef ribs and I love the grilled chicken sandwich with fries plus many other items! If you haven’t tried this Resturant I highly recommend! Please don’t let some of the reviews sway you to not trying this place. Please check it out for yourself. We go out to eat more than most people and this restaurant serves quality food and the owners and staff really care about their customers. You won’t be disappointed.:)

Great food and nice vibe. We ordered the bbq pork ribs, juicy brisket, garlic mashed potatoes, fried okra, BBQ chicken with mac-n-cheese, and the mini sliders. All the food was really good. The kids just loved the brisket. They said it was melting in their mouth. The garlic makes potatoes are very good as well. The only negative I withhold say was that the corn bread. I would opt for a different option next time.

When friends visit, I always bring them here. Last night, I brought a girlfriend from San Francisco and we both ordered the Beef and Blue Salad with that crazy-good cornbread. She also got the fried okra. Everything was wonderful. She's already asking to come back!

Wow! We ordered a full rack rib plate with beans, fries and potato salad and everything was delicious, but the REAL star was the banana pudding. 10/10 recommend this place but 15/10 recommend the banana pudding. The vanilla wafer crumble somehow stayed crunchy the next day when I had left overs. Split with my husband and STILL had a massive amount of left overs for lunch the next day. Now I’m excited to try this place in person if the food was this good delivered. *photo of left overs*.

Every time I come here the place is busy so I truly must say something. The wait time was exactly what they indicated to me. Spent a little time in the bar so the time was well spent. The wide variety of menu choices made it easy or perhaps more difficult to choose what to get but we got the standard ribs macaroni and cheese and other items.. but celebrating my birthday here was a different treat, especially when you getting older and you don't need people singing to you it was a little embarrassing but I love the free dessert..

The food was great, no complaints! Staff were friendly. Our waiter was Awesome! (With a K!) Our family had requested some special accommodations ahead of time, and the restaurant was able to meet those requests, which allowed us to have a small birthday lunch in a way that suited our special needs.
