Joe's Real BBQ is a cafeteria-style spot for barbecued ribs, chopped brisket, and pulled pork, all smoked over pecan wood. Since its opening in 1998, it has been proudly owned by the Johnston and Peelen Family. They use only pecan wood and no gas or electric ovens. Their meats are dry-rubbed and made very slowly using smoke and mild heat. Joe's favourite is the turkey, but the biggest selling is the beef brisket and pulled pork. All their side plates are made in-house. One of their most popular sides is their fresh corn; it's delicious and pairs perfectly with BBQ. They have an extensive selection of beer, wine, and cocktails etc in the restaurant. Their non-alcoholic beverages include various bottled sodas and homemade root beer. Finish your meals with their sweet/tart lemon cake, root beer cake, chocolate chip cookies, and peach cobbler. Their building was a Safeway Pay n' Takit grocery store built in 1929 when The Restaurant was just 700 people. They have become the place for gatherings, whether indoors, on their climate-controlled patio, or in their festive picnic park.

JOE'S REAL BBQ REVIEWS
What an experience! Try the brisket and the massive baked potatoes. Don't be scared to ask for extra butter either. It's provided by the scope. This is my new favorite BBQ spot. They have the best homemade rootbeer and a secret BBQ sauce recipe called Gilbert Gold! This place is worth every penny. To top it off, when you're done eating, you can enjoy a game of ping pong or corn hole on the lawn out back. It's a family outing that's fun for everyone.
Wow!! So great. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere more than usual. Great BBQ. Big... Big baked potatoes (called Bakers). Corn, slaw, beans... all fantastic. The cornbread and rolls were top-notch, too. We had the Topo ice cream. Vanilla and prickly pear. Also, great. Highly recommend.
The food is delicious and never disappoints, and the employees are friendly and efficient. Root beer cake is an unusual but incredibly good treat! Love having such a great BBQ joint within walking distance of my home.

CALDWELL COUNTY BBQ REVIEWS
From the moment I stepped out of my car I could smell the smokers that made our brisket covered with swooshes of fat cap. The massive yet tender spare ribs that shimmered and offered a touch of natural sweetness. The mesquite smoked sausage mixed with jalapeño and creamy cheddar cheese was juicy. The Corn Casserole made with cornbread, sour cream, and hatch green chilies was a crowd favourite. I must say that I loved the pickles, and sweet red peppers in the creamy Caldwell Potato Salad. I can’t speak highly enough about the great service and nice people working here. Loved having lunch on the patio and the entire experience.
Had it all and loved every bit of it!!! The atmosphere is so relaxing. Great customer service! The food is amazing! Gluten free food menu available! Wish we could have had their gluten free banana pudding, but they didn’t had any. That’s probably for the best, I would have needed a wheel barrel to get to the car. Hope to come back again.
I am from Iowa and visited the Queen Creek BBQ, and this place is amazing!! The food was way better than I ever expected. The atmosphere was pleasant and fun and the service was perfect. Ryan was our server and didn’t miss a thing and Austin who is the manager stopped to make sure everything was good. It was beyond good.

RUDY'S COUNTRY STORE AND BAR-B-Q REVIEWS
Overall, I had a good experience here. The service was great. The Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Coleslaw seemed a little dry, but otherwise good. The chocolate pudding was so delicious! Tried both the BBQ sauce and Sissy sauce, they tasted exactly the same so not sure the difference there.
Always delicious. Always smells great in and around the restaurant. Service is great. My only complaint is the tray they serve the food on. Wat too deep. Added bonus, got to try the new Shiner Prickly Pear today.
This place has delicious food. I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, my bowl has eggs, cheese and brisket If you want to have a good time with your Friends , I recommend it. Good service and good armor.
