"Lightworks Cafe serves Ruby coffee and made-from-scratch fast-casual cuisine. Their menu changes seasonally with delicious daily specials. The owners have a great passion for cooking and creating an amazing dining experience. Nathan and Matthew Graham are the co-founders of the cafe. Their crews are very friendly and provide excellent service. Lightworks Cafe offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. They serve breakfast and lunch, all made from scratch using high-quality, local ingredients (when available). Their menu includes classic diner and café fare with interesting and refreshing modern twists. Free Wi-Fi and wheelchair accessible options are also available at Lightworks Cafe. Veggie Pot Pie and their assorted pastries are the most recommended items.

I can’t believe someone would give less than 5 stars for this cute full service coffee shop. To start, the outside has such a cool vibe and is in a great location. They have a few outdoor tables for outdoor seating which is great for bringing your dog. Their quiche menu is solid and food is really good for a coffee shop. The inside is cute and welcoming and the staff was all very nice!!! We got an iced white mocha and bohemian and they were perfect.

Very cool authentic coffee spot downtown. Good quality coffee, nice ambiance inside, and good service staff. This place feels like an important part of Cesar Rapids culture.

Nice, relaxed environment. Perfect for working! Both the food and the coffee were very good. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Very nice coffee and they actually can steam the milk properly which believe me, many places can’t. Also they have soy milk which is annoyingly rare to find in coffee shops in the U.S for some reason so that’s a big plus for me! The server was very friendly and they had no problem with grilling the chicken for my sandwich instead of deep frying it. Would be nice if there were more “light” meal options available like salads or omelettes. Also, the boxes for the sandwiches could be bigger as it makes it a bit difficult to eat.

I cannot recommend this cafe enough. I have never had anything I didn’t like. Their homemade syrup for lattes, and their seasonal specials are amazing. Their food is all from scratch and so fresh and delicious. Cookies are incredible too. It’s my favorite place in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area for coffee and breakfast.

Fabulous hole-in-the-wall place. Family owned. Visited in November. Back in February, and it's on our to-do list of places to visit again for lunch. The food was perfect. The drinks were spectacular! If you like visiting coffee shops, you have to come here.

KISMET COFFEE & BLOOM REVIEWS

I was passing through and had to find somewhere to work for a few hours - I cannot recommend Kismet enough!! All of the staff was so lovely, the coffee, matcha, and chai were all unique and very good, and I left buying a small vase of beautiful flowers! Truly a treat I wasn't expecting. A must-visit if in town.

Tried Kismet for the first time today! Loved the turkish delight coffee, recommended by the barista. Super cute inside and will be back.

I dropped in twice for coffee, and loved both drinks. Flowers everywhere, it's a cozy little place. Next time I visit Cedar Rapids I'll come back, and visit the 2nd floor. A small selection of pastries too, friendly and efficient service.
