I got the pleasure of trying Christy's sugar cookies. The presentation was amazing. She really takes her time to put intricate details into her work. The cookie itself was thick not thin. And it didnt fall apart or have crumbs falling all over the place. The frosting wasnt too sweet either and was the perfect amount for the cookie. It is also important to have a great relationship with your customers, Christy was very nice and made small talk and she wasn awkward at all. Very easy going and even through in an extra cookie for my daughter. She loved it as well!

The best cakes in Brownsville in my opinion. Been a customer for a long, long time and expectations never fail. Everyone is very kind and very knowledgeable. Very clean and organize. Excellent prices. But the taste of the cakes and the details are amazing.

Great customer service, we bought a vanilla cake with jelly covered Strawberries. It was great! They have so many varieties and styles ready to take from fridge to buy on the spot.

D’Events Bakery did a fabulous job with our wedding cake order. They were very professional and a joy to work with from beginning to end. Our cake tasting experience was amazing and we loved everything so much that we winded up expanding our order to a wedding cake, groom’s cake, cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, individual tres leches cakes, and wedding cookies. Every item was baked and frosted to perfection! The Swiss Meringue frosting was the best I ever had and the cake filling was amazing. I highly recommend this bakery for all your baking needs; they will handle your order with excellence and care. It will be beautiful and delicious!

I was in a journey and in a hurry to find a cake specialty bakery shop. Went to Gloria's cakes in Harlingen and my daughter birthday was 2 weeks away and they told me they weren't taking any more cake orders. Will my business is not wanted there and won't go there anymore. So I surely made the right decision by going to D'event Cake Shop. They told me right away yes and made a beautiful and great tasting cake for my 24 year old daughter day. My family asked who made it and I mentioned D'event and were amaze of how beautiful and great tasting cake it was.

They did an amazing job on my daughter’s fully customized Hello Kitty Birthday Cake.

A very homey experience. The cupcakes are the cutest and take you back to your inner child (if you're an adult like me but perfect when bringing kids!) They're simple in flavor but very much worth it when you're craving a last minute treat. The staff is extremely friendly, you can eat in the store, or take home in a very convenient container. Their cupcakes are also jumbo, not just normal sized.

The most delicious cupcakes and cakes! CBC also offers a variety of lunch plates (check their Facebook to see what's on the menu for the day) Today I had the chicken avocado salad with cilantro dressing and it was awesome! The service and food is always 5 star quality.

Cupcakes were delicious! I had a last minute order. The staff was willing to slightly customize their classic cupcakes to accommodate me. So good!
