I've been enjoying these cakes for well over 20 years. The go-to for any cakes in the City of Waterbury. Look no further than here for the freshest, unique, and delicious cakes all crafted by the amazing team down there.

Always accommodating even if you were late to reserve a cake they always have extras. They were helpful w the description of the cakes to chose from..the girls behind the counter are all lovely and friendly..we always recommend them for yummy sweet treats

Sweet Maria’s is truly the best when it comes to birthday, anniversary, and wedding cakes! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 4 years, and they’ve never let me down. This year, I considered trying a new bakery for my sister’s birthday, but everyone I contacted was either rude or never replied. I ended up going back to Sweet Maria’s just 4 days before the event — and as always, they came through with a beautiful and delicious cake. Highly recommend

Absolute hidden gem. I've driven by the bakery numerous times and always wanted to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised. There were so many amazing options, all equally stunning. Aside from a variety of pastries, there are also numerous different types of breads and a small area dedicated to other goods (beverages, snacks, frozen items).

Everything was great but..I do say but. Everything is in Spanish. Please add English so people know what they are ordering. The designs are very beautiful art in food form. The taste is delicious too, each one different from the next. I have tried 6 so far. They are $10 each. Yummy

We went for the viral fruit pastries and I am so glad we did! We had the strawberry, lemon, coconut and Tiramisu. Our favorite was the lemon. They were all really good and the young lady who waited on us was very nice. We were able to sit (seats are really comfy) and enjoy them fresh. Definitely give them a try.

I made an order of 8 dozen cupcakes and 10 dozen macarons for my wedding. They were delicious and everyone absolutely loved them. Angela had no problem accommodating my large order. I would highly recommend ordering for an event.

Looking for phenomenal quality deserts that taste fresh and are delicious then you need to try Sweet Mia’s. Plenty of options to choose from, my personal favorite is the Vanilla cupcake. 10/10. Not to mention the owner, her mom and dad are generally the most sweetest people to ever exist.

My daughter and I went to this amazing bakery for the first time on 2/25/26, to look for sweet treats for a birthday celebration! This mother and daughter duo, were two of the most incredible people we’ve ever come across! Their energy was absolutely amazing.The shop was beautiful & all of the sweet treats were beyond delicious. They spent so much time just talking to us and telling us about their bakery since it was our first time visiting! We were beyond impressed and we will definitely be customers for life now! What an amazing combination of great people and great bakery items!! And I am so picky about bakery foods, but this place blew my expectations out of the water! I am so sorry I have not gone there sooner! They deserve a million stars and that still wouldn’t even be enough!!!
