Midas

So, it's a little long, but I'll try to summarize. About two months ago, I came here for a rotation and tire re-balancing. Super nice group and pretty laid back in my eyes. Everything went smoothly, off I went. This morning I replaced my brakes with a friend to save money and hang out together. While doing it, he noticed I was missing a spacer ring to my custom rims. I came back here to explain the situation, and the mechanic remembered me and/or my car and replied, 'We kept it for you.' I was super happy about this and, in some ways, blown away. I really appreciated they held onto it despite not remembering what car it went to. I do not fault them for the spacer ring, if anything, I compliment them for holding onto it. I can't say I have ever worked with a shop or a dealership that does that. Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it.

Robert and the other Midas employees were polite, pleasant, and professional. I really needed oil one day, and Midas topped my oil off right before closing and at no cost. I returned for an oil change days later, and my light bulb was also replaced at no extra cost. Also, I liked how, before servicing my vehicle, the Midas tech inserted covers over the seat and the gas and brake pedals to avoid leaving marks or dirt. I think the whole Midas franchise is recommendable. Months ago, I had a good experience getting a tire replaced at Midas in Schenectady. Triple A had dropped me there on a late Saturday afternoon when many other car places were closed. I live in Albany, and Midas Central Avenue has become my go-to car place. Two thumbs up!

I made an appointment for an NYS inspection the same day, which I was unable to do anywhere else. I worked with Robert, who was professional, personable, and had a great sense of humor. Robert was able to get my car inspected, and I was out of there quickly. I would definitely recommend Midas and Robert for your auto care needs.
