Dr. Zaki Lababidi is the cardiologist who is the founder of Gilbert Cardiology. He has over 15 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease who has also specialized in interventional cardiology. Zaki Lababidi completed his residency in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. Zaki completed a fellowship at the Arizona Heart Institute. He is the director of echocardiography at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert. Zaki is expertise in the treatment of congestive heart failure, heart attack, abnormal heart rhythms, coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and varicose veins. He has participated in numerous cardiovascular research trials.

Dr. Nabil Dib got his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus. He finished his interventional cardiology fellowship program at Harvard Medical School, Beth-Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, in Boston. Nabil Dib is the director at Dignity Health of cardiovascular research. Nabil is internationally known for his research and work with stem cell therapy. Dr. Nabi has carried out the first experiment worldwide to show the viability of stem cell transplantation using 3-D catheter guidance. Dr. Nabil implanted the first patient with stem cell therapy. Nabil Dib obtained the first FDA approval in the US for stem cell transplantation for patients with a heart attack and failure using the 3-D catheter guidance technology, a minimally invasive procedure. He was named America’s top doctors for interventional cardiology in 2003.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Hojjati received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He is board-certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular computed tomography, and nuclear cardiology. Mohammad is also certified in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (cardiac MRI). His special interests include cardiac MRI and CT, echocardiography, nuclear, and general cardiology. He holds Cardiac MRI leadership positions at both Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and Chandler Regional Medical Center. Mohammad Reza works with adult patients on all aspects of general cardiology care, from prevention to diagnostic studies to treatment. He is currently working in the Heart Care Center of the Valley. The center cares for adults with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
