HUNAN GARDEN REVIEWS

We love Hunan Garden, and it's our go-to Chinese restaurant in Rochester. We love that they use more veggies in a lot of their dishes than many other places (for example, the sweet and sour chicken comes with bell peppers, pineapple, and carrot, and they have a few vegetarian options like broccoli with garlic sauce). The people there are always friendly, and the food is always consistently delicious and well-made. It's a really great place to get good, reliable take-out on those days when you're just too tired to cook.

Our server was absolutely fabulous. So helpful when we ordered with suggestions and information, and attentive and genuinely lovely. Food was fantastic. Veggies were fresh and the food was wonderful. Portions were huge. Great value. The crab rangoons were incredible. Best I've ever had!

Absolutely delicious, I stop by whenever I’m in the Rochester area. The staff is super sweet, patient, and thoughtful. The interior is also beautifully decorated. This is a great restaurant I always suggest to people if they want some Chinese food.

I love what they did for the kids menu too. They do fried chicken with a side of fried rice. Not chicken tenders but Chinese fried plain chicken then sweet and sour sauce on the side to dip in. So glad it wasn’t another side of just breaded chicken tenders! Staff was kind and wonderful!Fast service, friendly staff, and amazing food.

Great little Chinese place! Cozy little spot, nothing fancy but was a good place to take a kiddo as it’s pretty casual. Great family spot and adorable too. Food was stellar!! Got chow mein, the cashew chicken was awesome

Always a great place to stop for the best Asian food in Rochester. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Reasonable prices and generous portions. It might be located out of the way but worth stopping at!

I absolutely love their food here. Only place we go to get Chinese food here in town. Always fresh to order and have never gotten my meal wrong. Would recommend to anyone in town or some visiting. Their beef lo mein is probably my favorite, a long with their crab ragoons. The staff is very friendly.

Absolutely delicious. I always order Broccoli in Garlic Sauce 5x spicy, with Hot and Sour Soup. The flavors and spices are done perfectly each time. So glad to have found their new location convenient and easy to find.

China Star is one of my favorite restaurants in Rochester. A very nice menu selection and great food and service!
