CATHEDRAL OF SAINT JOSEPH REVIEWS
I like to attend mass at different CT Catholic churches, and this was #39. There is street parking and a lot behind the cathedral. The exterior is modern and 'cold', but the interior will take your breath away. Open, spacious, and modern but traditional in that it had the stained glass. It's all very grand and absolutely gorgeous. The ceiling lights are shaped like stars, and they look 3-D. This is one of the most amazing churches I've seen to date.
This is a magnificent cathedral which dates back to 1876. Unfortunately, the original church burned to the ground in 1956. The new cathedral has a contemporary design with a hint of the traditional. The church seats 1750 people and is a testimonial to faith as well as human genius and artistry.
I came here for my daughter’s Confirmation. Beautiful building and architecture. Large parking lot on the side of the church. Was towards the middle and was able to hear everything with their sound system.

ST. PATRICK - ST. ANTHONY CHURCH REVIEWS
My husband and I tied the knot here in July 2019 and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. The staff and clergy - particularly Carolyn Abramo, Gabriel Löfvall, and Fr. John Leonard - were fantastic. Carolyn was actually the first person I met upon moving to Connecticut in 2010, and I'll never forget how kind and welcoming she was back then. She is so warm and highly organized; we couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator! In addition, Gabriel's musical talent and direction added so much beauty to our ceremony. Finally, we really enjoyed working with Fr. John as he is very professional and detail-oriented and he officiated our ceremony beautifully.
My wife and I got married here a year and a half ago, and everyone was great. Father John is wonderful and Carolyn is nothing short of fantastic. Both were so accommodating and professional during what can be a crazy day and are so appreciative!
The oldest Catholic church in Connecticut. True to the Franciscan tradition of helping the poor. Wonderful homilies and the music groups are amazing.

Saint Augustine Church is a well-renowned church in Hartford. The current Romanesque-style church was completed in 1912 and was dedicated by Bishop John J. Nilan of the Diocese of Hartford in June of that year. The community of Saint Augustine Church extends a warm welcome to all who wish to join them as missionary disciples of their Lord Jesus Christ. As a Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of Hartford, they require all employees and volunteers who regularly interact with children to complete the Virtus training program. The church offers scheduled weekday and Sunday masses, including special masses to give thanks for another person's intentions, such as on their birthday. Furthermore, they strongly encourage all individuals to report any incidents of abuse to the appropriate authorities, regardless of whether it is mandated by law. The church offers an already scheduled weekday or Sunday mass (including the Saturday Vigil).

This church has been part of my family for years. From going to pray when no one was there, to feeding my family when we couldn't afford food. The doors have always been open like God's heart. When my daughter was baptized and the pictures were developed I saw angel wings and I know Angels are always there. This church is a rock. I love Saint Augustine church!!
I'll share my pride. However, I can only continue to make it strong with your help. Is a place that is multicultural outgoing, I highly recommend this church.
