I discovered her when my dental insurance changed. I needed to get dental clearance for a proposed surgery. I was wondering why I had to get a dental clearance. That’s when Dr. Ballenger explained that any infection in the mouth can and does spread through the body. I asked why I was 60 years old to learn about it. She said the medical disciplines did not work together until recently, and dentists and medical doctors are now taught holistically. Physicians and dentists share the interconnectedness of mouth health care with the entire body. At the Ballenger Care, you get the feeling of being with the family physician. She knows you by name and is willing to work with you regarding payments and scheduling. Her integrity is impeccable; she would not sign off on my dental clearance until I met the necessary conditions, even when I begged for it. Dr. Debbie is the real deal and is very connected to the city and the dental community. I highly recommend Dr. Debbie and the Ballenger dentist care team. Plus, they have high-tech equipment and good music. Her technique of numbing the area to work on is the best. She could use the needle without me kicking; that’s a miracle.
