Dr. Shumate and his staff are wonderful. I’ve only had great experiences there. I’ve moved from that area and have tried multiple other dental offices in Wilmington and they just don’t compare. Christina up front is helpful and very efficient at her job. The office is clean and runs smoothly. I highly recommend Porters Neck dentistry to all.

Porter’s Neck Cosmetic and family dentistry is singularly unique. Dr. Shumate is leading a practice that makes “going to the dentist” a really pleasant experience. His methods and approach are as modern as they come, and my new smile is proof. His staff is friendly and professional making a trip there a true experience. Staff is so friendly and kind. Dr. Shumate is awesome at what he does. He explains everything and listens to what you are saying. I drive over an hour to get to this office and it is worth it! I needed extensive work (crowns, filling repairs, etc) and it was all explained thoroughly and broken down into phases. I recommend Porter’s Neck Dentistry to everyone.
