My girls started dancing with Caitlin since they were in kindergarten...and never looked back! They are now going to college... This was our second family!! If you love to dance, have fun, and be part of a family, this center of dance is for you....we miss it so very much! Madisyn and Kenzii are already saying they are going to dance next summer when they come home!.

Wonderful dance school with very friendly and qualified teachers. The recent recital was outstanding.

All communication is great. Very welcoming. Very professional. My granddaughter loves ballet, tap, and Jazz.

We transferred to Ballet & Dance of Upstate NY after not receiving the same level of instruction for all students at another studio. We have been so impressed with the professionalism, and level of instruction provided to all students here, irregardless of whether they are My son does not go here, yet, however I felt compelled to leave an appropriate review based on how I was treated. I have reached out to so many dance studios for my ASD son, and I have been met with such unwelcoming experiences, that I started to feel utterly defeated. When the woman called me back from this establishment, she was so nice, so caring, enthusiastic, and all around nice. This is something I have not been able to find even in my sons current dance studio. She was patient with me while I explained everything to her, and explained what I was hoping to obtain in a studio. I am looking forward to hopefully enrolling my son this summer.

This studio has been part of my life for the past 28 years. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn under Kathleen Rathbun and other wonderful teachers in an environment that not only fostered my passion for dance, but also helped me grow as a person in many ways. I have been fortunate enough to return to this studio as an instructor for the past 10 years and share my love of dance and this school with the students I teach as well as my own children. The atmosphere is a positive one that provides structure and routines alongside professional level training. The students here not only have the opportunity to learn and improve their dance skills, but to build strong friendships along the way.

We truly love Ballet & Dance of Upstate NY! Ms. Rathbun is an excellent instructor, as are the others. It is a place where children really learn to love the art of dance. We are so glad we found it.

THE BEST DANCE STUDIO. EVER. STUDIO OF THE YEAR PERIOD. no other studio like this. the creativity is like nothing compared to any other studio in the area/ state and the welcoming environment is soooo worth it. The owner is one of the most down to earth people there is and will train these kids to become stars. They teach discipline & self exploration which seems to not be for everyone, but if you want your kid to do something they love and potentially have a career in the arts, this is the place to be.

I've been going to this studio for about 2 years now to take the adult dance classes and I've always had a wonderful experience! Attending the adult dance classes at this studio is by far my favorite part of the week. The studio owner and dance instructors provide such a positive, non-judgmental, supportive, and all around fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I’ve had a daughter at DDC for a handful of years and I couldn’t appreciate Dom and her staff any more than I do. They are phenomenal.
