ELMWOOD PARK REVIEWS
Beautiful little Park tucked away in the middle of Syracuse! The park looks as if it is getting restored to its original beauty. A nice little stream with several small man made waterfalls runs through the middle of it. There is also a couple trails around it in the shaded woody area. It's a nice little walk to break up the day. Someone has even been building little hut shaped shelters out of the branches that were laying around.
I loved this park. A stream runs through it, tiny waterfalls tumbling the water along on its way... it *may* be man-made, I wouldn't know as I was there from out of town. If it is, the man made it well. Peaceful, calming stream in a peaceful, calming park.
Great gem hidden in the valley behind Corcoran H school. Probably spent TOO MUTCH time there growing up. Now have pleasure of mowing this awesome place. Most people and dogs are very friendly. Great place to let friendly dogs swim and run.

CLARK RESERVATION STATE PARK REVIEWS
Great trails to walk on. Some along the cliff trail can be above big falls on cracked rocks. The swamp trail is cool and runs along The swamp but can be hard to follow and some parts will get your feet a little bit wet.
Moving up from the Binghamton area to the Syracuse area, we miss the parks with hills and views. Clark Reservation is the exception. It's got hills and rocks and views and several good trails. Doesn't seem to be very crowded. Bug might be the only concern given all the wet areas.
This park is quite peaceful has easy trails and challenging trails. Excellent for all types of hikers I recommend it to everybody to come share the beauty.

BEAVER LAKE NATURE CENTER REVIEWS
A great nature center with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Trails of different lengths are available and the park is kept in excellent condition. My favorite part is the section with rocking chairs, overlooking bird feeders which attract all manner of squirrels.
This place is a gem and well worth the $5.00 admission fee. The trails are well marked and well groomed. They are easy to traverse as well. One could easily spend a few hours here
Beautiful trails. The lake loop needs some work in order to keep from sinking so plan on getting your feet wet on that trail. Otherwise, great place!
