SHARON'S SCHOOL OF DANCE REVIEWS

When our little one expressed interest in dance at age 3 her dad and I knew that we didn't want her to to be in a competitive dance studio or one that isn't concerned with actual teaching. I was familiar with that side of dance and didn’t think it would be a good fit for us. I wanted a place that would include teaching real basics, fundamentals & techniques and of course be fun. We found all of that at Miss Sharon's. Ms. Sharon personally taught the classes, so she gets to know your child. The setting is fun and pressure free. My daughter comes away knowing the exact names of the steps and positions (of course, she never remembers). I leave knowing that if she chooses to pursue dance further that she's gotten a good foundation and she's in a great place that seems very much like a little community. We are very happy with our decision and look forward to growing with the school.

My daughter has been dancing at Sharon’s School of Dance for three years and absolutely loves it! Sharon not only teaches her students the art of dance, but also respect and independence. She teaches from a place of love and truly puts so much into her classes and her recitals are wonderful! Her music choice, costumes and choreography are tasteful and age appropriate. She wants the children to learn technique, but also to be children and have fun! Additionally, Sharon is incredibly easy to reach and always responds to messages. I highly recommend Sharon’s School of Dance.

My 2.5y/o daughter had a great time at our trial night. She has been asking to go back and is so excited to be a “ballerina.” Ms. Sharon is so patient and kind! We are excited to be part of this dance studio.

There is not a better place in the Triad for young students to take dance classes. The studio owners are involved daily and the quality of the instruction staff is top-notch. As a parent of two dancers, I've watched my daughters develop their technique to the highest competitive level and witnessed their National Championship dance performances with the Dancers Edge team. Whether a child is interested in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz or lyrical, at either the recreational or competitive levels, boys and girls age 2 or older will find a warm environment at this nationally recognized studio in Winston Salem or the second studio in Kernersville.

Cannot say enough about the staff and their dedication to each and every student. Best studio in town, you owe it to your child to get the best qualified teacher with experience and the desire to make your child the best they can be.

My daughter Kamya has been dancing here for 6 years! Her improvement really shows. We love it! So organized and the teachers are amazing. DE Family.

IN MOTION DANCE STUDIO REVIEWS

This is the most competitive dance school in Winston-Salem. In addition to recreational classes, the Elite dance teams win regional and national awards, with many dancers earning scholarships and individual trophies. Watching the performances, the teams look like professional dance troupes. Many of them dance to choreography from commercial dance celebrities, so the technical skills and creativity are unmatched. All styles of dance are taught, with classes at various times to work with your schedule. Individual and private lessons/clinics are available throughout the year. It's an incredible group of girls led by talented teachers.

This is my daughter's 4th year at In Motion and we've been highly impressed with both the atmosphere and the level of dance education. It's an encouraging, challenging, and fun atmosphere simultaneously. As a Mom to a young girl, I greatly appreciate the age appropriate costumes and music. The recital at The Stevens Center is one of my favorite nights of the year - SO well done! I love that the director, all the dance teachers and student assistants are strong role models for my daughter. My daughter is there twice a week currently but wishes she could be there more often. She also loves the summer camp at In Motion. I would recommend In Motion for all levels and all types of dance - something for everyone.

We love In Motion Dance Center, Ms. Michelle, and her staff. Ms. Michelle and her staff are always so friendly, smiles on their faces, and welcoming to the dancers into their classes. I have been blown away and impressed by the professionalism, organization, and communication that we receive from In Motion. Additionally, I am amazed with the quality of dance instruction that is taught to the younger dancers up to the older dancers. My daughter loves going to her classes and wants to show us what she has learned as soon as she gets home.
