Oc Dance Studio

Val was our amazing dance instructor for our wedding first dance. My fiance and I visited several studios before choosing to take private lessons with Val at OC Dance Studio for our wedding first dance. My fiance did not have any ballroom dance experience. I had some social dance experience. In the first dance lesson, we stepped on each other's toes and neither person will let the other one lead. It was quite comical to watch us dance. After assessing our skills and experience level, Val created a dance routine which we could learn without getting frustrated. In the beginning, it was difficult for us. We didn't know how to dance to the proper rhythm of our song. Val's teaching technique makes it fun and possible to learn, but the couple must practice after each lesson. We started with learning the basic steps, then we built on to the previous lessons. Our wedding was last Saturday, October 1, 2022. My husband and I danced beautifully for our first wedding dance. We had so much fun. Our guests loved our dance. It was a perfect evening for us! We enjoyed learning with Val so much that we will continue to take lessons with Val to learn other types of social dances for our personal growth and enjoyment.

The OC Dance Studio did a phenomenal job preparing us for our wedding dances, couple, father daughter, and mother son. I appreciated their patience with us learning the steps. And by us, it definitely was me who needed the extra attention. Thank you for the beautiful moments.

I’ve been taking lessons at O C Dance Studio for over 11 years. I’ve known the professionals instructors to be helpful and encouraging. They go out of their way to accommodate their students and the needs of the community. It’s always fun, it’s good exercise, and I would dance anywhere else!
