He joined private practice in 1988 with the firm, representing clients in the defense of injury litigation. He has tried over 125 civil cases to verdict. He is a member of the American Academy of Trial Counsel, American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Advocate, and Cameron County Bar Association. He is an avid tennis player and serves as President of the Brownsville Tennis Association.
