First of all I want to thank Jim and Theresa for helping me will all the arrangements that were done for my father funeral he passed away three weeks ago. We did look for different places in the Joliet area but Farkas Funeral home was one of the best starting with the prices and that he had all the time to explain to me and my brothers about everything everything was like the told me never rush a payment before the service so thank you for that , it was our first time stepping in a situation like this so again thank you for helping us. The place is nice with a newly remodeled kitchen with a large parking lot I do recommend them and loved that had a area for the children which I have 3 small ones

Farkas funeral home is above and beyond the best funeral home in the area. Jim and his team were by our side for every part of the process. We felt heard and supported every step of the way. Our family could not have made it through this difficult time without Jim. He is compassionate and showed our loved one incredible care. The funeral home is beautiful and the process was seamless. Highly recommend.

While I'm sure that no one is ever truly prepared for the death of a loved one, I was absolutely clueless when my mother passed suddenly last October. However, Jim made the process so very easy and walked me through all that needed to be done, from the process of having her remains shipped from California, to all the other details like flowers and pictures. I really cannot say enough about the care and compassion I was shown, as well as the beautiful funeral service. A wonderful light during a terribly difficult time.
