Meeting Dr.Lim for the first time at the hospital in care of my sister, was an exceptional experience. The moment we started chatting, I felt his compassion and expertise in his field. He took the time to explain the situation with the pros and cons And didn’t rush in speaking to me. patients would be fortunate to have him as their physician.

Let’s face it getting a colonoscopy isn’t exactly something people look forward to but just one of those things in life that has become a necessity once you hit that age. Dr Lim has great communication skills and made me feel very comfortable with his knowledge as well as his bedside manner. Very personable as if I was talking with one of my friends. The actual procedure was great, check in, put to sleep, and waking up as if no time had passed. The prep drink the day before was much worse than the procedure itself, but that’s not the doctors fault and would be the same no matter where you went. Mahalo Dr Lim for making a perceived dreaded procedure actually really great! See you again on the next one in 10 yrs if you’re not retired by then!

Dr. Lim and personnel that took care of me for my procedure were caring, comforting and good at what they do. I called with questions and concerns prior to my at-home prep, and Trisha was helpful, understanding and reassuring. Dr. Lim is a great doctor, and his patient care is excellent.

Visited several hospitals and doctors, and Dr. Yang truly is a "Specialist" of his profession. Extremely busy, but he fit us in as best he could - even with little time given and appt slots available at labs and clinics. He explains everything and gives all options available, with the best treatment route to take. Dr. Yang doesn't just treat us like sick people - he shows and treats us with compassion and someone who TRULY loves doing what he does best. He NEVER fails to return any of our calls/queries, nor shows any signs of giving up on helping. He has an awesome team/staff working for and with him. Highly recommend Dr. Yang to anyone who needs his help. Thank you Dr. Yang and team!

I had an esophagus varices exam discovering I will need banding to stop the bleeding. Dr. Yang discussed the procedure, risk involved, and recovery time. Excellent doctor! I'm a disabled veteran that has been treated at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii. The doctors at Tripler are like veterinarians, liking proper bed side manners treating the veterans like live stock instead of human beings! Wonder if the Doctors/Officers at Tripler ever think some day they too will be old?

Outstanding doctor!!! I've had cancer for the past 6 years and I need to see lots of different doctors in a variety of specialities for my overall care. Dr. Yang may be the best doctor I've ever had. He truly cares for about my health and overall well-being. Many doctors look for a quick fix and don't consider long-term health. Dr. Yang is very considerate of my overall well-being and providing treatment that will help immediately and also improve my quality of life in the future. This is important with GI health because often our problems have developed over years and a quick fix would only temporarily help. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Miyamoto after having some GI concerns post pregnancy. To begin with, Dr. Miyamoto's staff was great! They were respectful, courteous, and went out of their way to assist me on the phone and in person. I did not have to wait very long before the first consultation either! Dr. Miyamoto is pleasant and easy to talk to. She was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She was also very thorough and concise with her responses and explained things to me in a way that I could understand but without making me feel inept.

I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, and Dr. Miyamoto and the team made me feel comfortable and confident. I was also very impressed with the discussion we had a few days later to go over the results. She was very patient with my questions and has excellent communication skills.

Dr. Cory Miyamoto is absolutely wonderful. She takes her time with you and really listens. When I leave her office I always feel like we have a solid plan in place for my complex issues. I would recommend her to anyone!
