“Dr. William G. Obana completed his medical education, internship, and residency at the Univ. of California School of Medicine in San Francisco. He is a member of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He specializes in minimally invasive cervical & lumbar spine surgery. He has performed thousands of outpatient cervical and lumbar spine surgeries to reduce pain and restore neurological function in patients with neck and low back problems. He helps restore neurological function and reduce pain in neck and lower back patients. He has served on the Hawaii State Medical Board and Board of Trustees of The Queen’s Health Systems and The Queen’s Medical Center. Dr. William G. Obana has written over 25 book chapters and journal articles on neurosurgery. He is affiliated with The Queens Medical Center. His appointments are also available at the Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Hawaii Surgery Center.”
