I can only speak for one of the stylists, Tawny, who I have been very happy with! I usually just get a trim and/or blow out and I always leave very satisfied. Plus, she’s super sweet and easy to talk to. The salon itself is clean and has very high ceilings (which I think is great because it feels spacious and doesn’t get stuffy). My only grievance would be the parking, which is a bit inconvenient… but worth it to get reliably good haircuts.

I had had my hair colored in Prague, and my stylist there did not speak English. So I ended up with exactly what I didn’t want. Tawny was super helpful and we had to tone my hair twice because of all the red. I have a nice textured summer hair color now. So happy.

They always do the best work at Bokãos! I’ve been coming to see Has, owner, and her team of hair stylists for years and I always get compliments and questions on my color and cut. Always leave feeling beautiful and pampered. Best hair salon in LA period <3.

I have been going to Lien for over 5 years, she does an amazing job with my hair! She knows how to cut and style curly hair, and always makes my hair look fantastic. Lien also taught me how to style curly hair, and I get so many compliments on my hair now that I have Lien! She is very knowledgeable about techniques and hair care products. She is the best.I highly recommend Lien at Union Salon!.

First time at Union Salon with Amy Chen. She is a class act. She really listened and then explained thoroughly what she would do and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I love the results and can’t wait to show it off.

Jennifer Medrano (Bettycombs) is a gem! Her skill snd expertise is hard to find especially for curly hair. My only complaint is the music. Please fix the playlist.

Josie was absolutely amazing. I get nervous about my hair, especially since it’s short. I am non-binary, and wanted to have something that was versatile but aligned with my personality and style. I did background research on the stylists available and her reviews nudged me to book with her. She was a pro at identifying what I was trying to achieve: a long-awaited investment in going platinum from natural brunette as I transition into a more professional role that my style would complement, while staying true to my identity. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and there is a sense of community in the staff that makes the experience enjoyable from start to finish. For anyone new to this place, I wouldn’t have concerns booking with any of the stylists, whether you’re wanting a specific look or to explore a new style that you might not be able to name without being an expert in the language of the field. Pricing is reasonable, and I didn’t feel oversold on services or products. They were also flexible when I had to reschedule. I have gone back twice so far and will continue as a loyal customer.

Victoria made me look expensive!!!! Will be back. She's my go to hair stylist from now on! I'm so excited I found her. Totally worth the drive. She's so nice, fast, and exceeded my expectations. I also brought my mom, who for her haircut by Sofia who was also super fast friendly and good at listening to what she wanted. These ladies are hard workers and it felt like a private salon, not a typical chain hair place. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! You can't beat the quality and price!!!.

The people there are all lovely, and I’ve never come away with a bad haircut. Victoria is the one who cut my hair. Lovely lady. Heartily recommend.
