TWO PONDS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE REVIEWS
Beautiful nature preserve with views of the mountains. There are many different paths or trails to choose from. There is also a pavilion (just built) that has picnic tables. It's beautiful in the fall time with all the foliage. The trails have some inclines, but overall not too challenging. Love all the open grassy spaces too. The river is also nice. It was actually pretty clear when we went. Wild asparagus grows on the sides of the paths in certain areas. Can't wait to come and check it out when it's in season.
Except for the suburban homes on the horizon in every direction, this is a few square blocks of dense and thriving NATURE. The wooded entrance from the lot quickly unfolds into an oasis in the foothills, abuzz with bugs, birds, frogs and movement all around. The trails loop through tall prarie grass, thick cattails, cottonwoods and prickly pear cactus. The ponds are bustling with waterfowl going and coming from all directions .
Wildlife refuge with trails for walking and running. Dogs are not allowed. Great for peaceful meditative walks, bird watching, or viewing local plant species.

VAN BIBBER OPEN SPACE REVIEWS
This is a really nice place to go and walk in Arvada. It has some nice open space and gives the feel of a nice Mountain type park where you have the natural grass and some hills and and overall just a nice atmosphere. A lot different than a city park which would be more trees and mowed grass, this space had the natural grasses and rolling hills and even a few dirt trails as well. Overall just a really nice place to walk. And at the intersection of Van bibber & Ward Road, was a restroom facility
Cool little park. Indoor bathrooms, cool places to stop and sit on benches for a few. Walking trails, paved and non paved. Never seems to overly crowded. I've even bombed the paved trails part before on my longboard.
This is a great place to go. We've gone a couple of times. The trail is nice and has a great view of the mountains.

NORTH TABLE MOUNTAIN PARK WEST TRAILHEAD REVIEWS
Nice Leisurely 3.2 loop on the North Trail during this visit - out and back from the North Table Mountain Park West Trailhead. Plenty of Parking available at the Trailhead with Bathrooms available. The trail I took was the N Table Loop connecting back to the Table Rock trail (which was extremely muddy) but the N Table Loop trail was wide & dry, and catered to hikers, runners, pets and horses.
Hiked to the lichen peak end of april. The panoramic views from the top is really beautifu with denver downtown very visible from the top. The trails are well maintained with clear markings and parking was easy as well. Would definitely recommend visiting here if you’re in the Golden area.
Great 2 mile hike/walk. First half mile is a steep incline so be sure to warm up before you start. You legs will thank you when you get to the top.
