CALADESI ISLAND STATE PARK REVIEWS
We hiked to Caledesi Island State Park from Clearwater Beach today. I would highly recommend being aware of the tide situation, as we hiked in during high tide, which required us to go through some of the mangroves and into the Gulf, at times. Despite that, the island is undisturbed by civilization, in its natural and beautiful state. We made it all the way to the end of the island, then came back and went to the ranger's office, paid the nominal $2/per person entrance fee, and enjoyed lunch at the Caledesi Cafe. We had grilled tuna melts and they were delicious! Near as we can tell (my Fitbit died in the middle of the hike), we hiked about 11ish miles, and with lunch and stops along the way to admire the beauty, it took us about 6ish hours total. Our return hike was at low tide, which made it much easier. We enjoyed the hike and the park very much!
Wow, I have lived in FL for over 30 years and never knew of Caladesi Island! What a hidden gem! Well maintained, absolutely stunning island with tons of picnic areas, bathrooms and beach areas. A true Florida landmark. We parked at Honeymoon Beach and kayaked to Caladesi, there is an awesome marina there as well.
Beautiful waters and beach. You can rent umbrellas and chairs for about $25. A paradise for shell collectors. Hiked to the end of the beach to see the hurricane pass - the stretch of water between honeymoon and caladesi island. Good place overall for a calm and fun day.

MOCCASIN LAKE NATURE PARK REVIEWS
Moccasin Lake Nature Park is a delightful place to spend time. There are trails to walk, a picnic pavillion, and best of all, several raptors on display as they recover and are cared for. We saw and talked to one of the park volunteers who was handling a red-shouldered hawk. An added bonus was a wild peacock who joined us in the picnic area. The peacocks wander around free and seem comfortable around people. Overall, a delightful place!!
This place is awesome all kinds of wildlife everywhere... nice trails shade included..lots of photo opportunity..a great place to explore Florida's landscape for all ages. I love visiting the local parks and this place really delivers... beautiful butterfly garden and Penelope the eagle are a couple my favorite things here. Honestly there are suprises everywhere... highly recommend visiting.
Absolutely beautiful! A serene raptor sanctuary with a turtle pond, butterfly sanctuary, lovely trails through wooded area and fantastic, friendly, informative staff. On Wednesdays the Suncoast Herpetological Society is there with a variety of snakes, lizards, and more.

CLIFF STEPHENS PARK REVIEWS
A beautiful park where you can walk or there are great biking trails all around. The nice paved trails and docks enables you to immerse yourself in nature. Great place for the whole family. The park also includes a Frisbee golf course. There are a few tables and a couple porta potties at the entrance of the park. You can actually ride over to Kaypok park by crossing the bridge over McMullen Booth Rd which will take you all the way to Safety Harbor.
We love this trail and have been on it since 2011. My daughter and I have a evening walk almost every night. We see so much wildlife and the the trees and lakes. It's just great!
Great park. Well kept and pleasant amenities. Few things could be changed like disc golf back 9 signage and more street lights on walking trails but overall great park.
