FOR-MAR NATURE PRESERVE & ARBORETUM REVIEWS
My family loves going here, it is one of our favorites. It has so many trails that are well groomed and have maps along the way. The treehouse is so cool, and we love the nature center, the butterfly tent, the hands on garden area, catching frogs by the pond, and looking at the goldfish. We love attending story-time here and some of the other events they hold. There is so much to do and enjoy here for all ages!
Great trails to go hiking, walking, or for a run. There is a beautiful butterfly house and a building to see turtles, fish, and insects. Plus, they have such wonderful events they host. You won't be disappointed! Also, in the winter you can rent snowshoes (for free) and go snowshoeing or just winter walking/hiking! So much fun.
Love this place so much, very well taken care of. If you want to see wildlife this place sure won't let you down love the critters here.the trails are well taken care of and easy to walk.

STEPPING STONE FALLS & PICNIC AREA REVIEWS
A gem of a place you'd never expect to find in the city. It was beautiful and serene to walk through. Lots of wildlife, beautiful paved paths, and bridges. The dam is so cool too. I could imagine the salmon climbing the steps to the backwater. I'm told at night it is lit up and it's probably spectacular to see.
Beautiful spot to walk along the paved trail, and view nature. There are multiple bridges that cross over the river, and nice viewing areas. The falls are man made, and are very unique. We found that everyone was extremely friendly. There is also a picnic area, and restrooms.
Great place for the family! Scenery is pretty nice. An abundance of nature, fish, geese, plus whatever else you may encounter. A nice trail for walking, jogging, or biking, which leads to another parking lot. A great outing to wind down or start the day.

KELLY LAKE PARK REVIEWS
It’s kinda surprising to me that my visit was the first time I’ve ever been to Kelly Lake. Overall it’s a nice, quiet little park with a couple of pavilions if you want a family get-together or kids birthday party. The walking trail is very short and typical of what you’d see on a trail in Mid-Michigan, some tree, a lake and a little bit of nature. The trail starts near the parking area and goes down to Genesee Rd, near the I-69 bridge and Genesee Christian Elementary School. On the other end, a wooden walkway goes over the lake/marsh and gives you the most scenic view in the park imo. There is a path on the other side of the lake that gives you nice views as you walk under the trees and is clearly taken care of, but it isn’t paved and you will have to watch you head for tree limbs. Overall it’s a nice little serene park that I enjoyed
Great place local and cheap. Got grills and porta potty s there. Benches and a pavilion when the weather breaks it's a quick get the hell out the house for free place and room for the kids to run. And they have a speeding hill.
It's a beautiful lake to go fishing before a walk or just sit and check out the water. Very quiet place to clear your thoughts.
