3 Best Hiking Trails in Miami Gardens, FL

Make sure you get here early if you're going on the weekend! They get really busy! The lighthouse is a great climb, and I loved going all the way to the top to see the light. The beach there is beautiful with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the day. We didn't get to visit the Lighthouse Cafe, so we've already added that to plasma for our next visit! If you have kids, check the height requirement on the lighthouse, make sure you wear shoes, and get there before it (the lighthouse) closes at noon.

The road is very enjoyable, the park is very calm and beautiful (maybe because it was a weekday) Key Biscane is a very beautiful neighborhood where we passed. We loved going to the tip of the island. There are beaches to swim in. The sea can be very windy and wavy. There are facilities such as cafes, toilets, sun beds, umbrellas in the park. I think it is a pleasant route. Recommended.

Beautiful setting. The concrete path to and around the light house has many benches that are shaded where you can sit and enjoy the warm salty air.

Love this park. Not really made for hiking but there are a few trails. Good place for bike trails and water activities. We typically rent a kayak and go out to the Bay area or beach area. There is also an island that is not too far off that has some wild racoons. I call them wild but they basically walk right up to humans and beg for food. They are super cute. Only drawback is that the island is often full of boaters blaring terrible music like they own the island. Also once you get out of the park area proper and into the bay there is a fairly strong current so be prepared to paddle.

Beautiful and diverse, with amazing and some challenging mountain bike trails (bring a helmet! for some death defying action lol) there's flat and paved trails as well, for skating too! Kayaking and other rentals, through the mangrove lined river with some mangrove tunnels. You can get lost there, right outside of a major city and beach. Worth exploring again and again.

Wow - this park is absolutely beautiful…. A great place to go on a weekend day when you can’t think of anything to do. There are amazing bike trails and beautiful beaches. The staff are not so friendly, however, but no shock there. Most of them seem to be seasonal hires or GenZ kids.
