LAKE THUNDERBIRD STATE PARK REVIEWS
Big lake east of Norman Oklahoma. Has many places to camp and go fishing. In the evenings deer are often spotted. Also has a nature center on the south side of the lake off of highway 9. Biking trails south west of the dam are extensive. All along the shore and woods close to the shore are nice hiking trails. They also have many boating ramps if you have a boat. Several swimming areas also.
Beautiful park outside of Oklahoma City with many different trails to explore. I was only in the area for an overnight and I'm so glad I chose this park to see. Stunning red clay soil, forests and lakeviews to enjoy. A wonderful way to spend the day when in the area.
Me and my boo went for a walk down the trails with or dig woody and swam for an hour it was so relaxing.

SUTTON WILDERNESS TRAIL PARK REVIEWS
Great 1.3 mi. walking park. Trail is well maintained and wide enough for several people to walk on. No bicycles allowed which makes it so that you aren't constantly looking over your shoulder. I'm not into fishing but there were several people with poles. Definitely worth stopping for.
This park is a great place to check out! The trail is wide and flat, approximately 1.3 miles long. Easy hike with almost full shade when trees are leafed out. There is a pond and fishing is allowed. There is also a gazebo at the front. A fair amount of parking although it can be hard to find a spot depending on when you go.
Very beautiful and quiet area for those who need the respite of nature. My two boys gosh here. It’s peaceful, the trails are easy, the trees and ecosystem is lovely. Definitely recommend to Norman residents who enjoy nature.

SEQUOYAH TRAIL PARK REVIEWS
A little slice of country in suburbania. There is gazebo and a cool Creek to play in. Yes I'm an adult and like playing in creeks, whatevs yolo and whatnot. Anyway if you need a place to chill out and kill time def recommend. Every time I come here there's never anyone here. The only downside is the dude's house like right there. I can feel them watching me. But hay it's a park you do you.
Grew up in this neighborhood, the upgrade was much needed, great shaded areas for a sunny day, basketball goal, kiddie swings, jungle gym, park benches, and even a gazebo. P.s. so quiet you can hear butterfly swings flapping.
It's really a greater place to walk the trails an walk your pets but they must be on a leash.
