“Lake Thunderbird State Park has several aquatic activities and recreation opportunities. The trail is generally considered an easy to moderately challenging route. The routes are four miles long and have 12 obstacles. Lake Thunderbird State Park also has a variety of hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife trails. The park has 1,874 acres of land area. The park has two marinas (Calypso Cove Marina and Little River Marina), nine boat ramps, and two swimming beaches. Over 200 RV sites with 30 full hookups, toilet facilities, and basic campsites are available. Deer archery and waterfowl hunting are permitted in proven regions during the appropriate seasons.”
