RALPH B. CLARK REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS
Great park for exercise... ball park for baseball.. trails for walking and running.. stairs for exercise... clean and friendly. Lovely place to enjoy a family day out. If you are by the tennis courts, you'll see an entrance for a running path on the other side of the street. It's part of the park, but a trail that travels into the hilltop. Enjoyable hike with great views.
Weekend routine includes taking the dog out to this park for a good mile walk. Great, well maintained park in the area that includes a mostly shaded easy hiking trail, walking paths, huge grassy fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, a fishing pond, picnic areas, and parking spots. Pay to park or reserve a picnic area for groups (all goes to help upkeep this beautiful park). There is also street parking which is free.
I was looking for some parks which is away from urban life. Really this park is one of the best I found in recent days. Well maintained hiking trails, picnic tables, children play area, tennis courts, baseball field, and a lake. Nice place for family and friends get-together.

Arroyo Pescadero Trailhead is a well-known hiking trail in Whittier, CA. The Trailhead is 7.3 miles and 16 mins distance from Norwalk, CA. The total length of the trail is 2.6 miles. The elevation gain of the trail is 288 feet. The trail is loop type. The total time to complete the trail is 1 hour and 2 minutes. This track is a beautiful hidden gem in the highlands! The Trailhead begins paved, but most of the track is a dirt fire road, making it ideal for running or off-road strollers. During springtime, the hills in this area are adorned with beautiful wildflowers. At the bottom of the hill is a lovely forested area waiting to be explored. However, please note that the parking area is near the top of the hill, so you must trek towards the end of the circular trail.

ARROYO PESCADERO TRAILHEAD REVIEWS
Great trail for hiking in the mornings. If you decide to do the loop it's downhill for a longer time period if you go to the right. If you go to the left you'll be walking uphill for a longer period of time. So choose what you're comfortable with. We went with my parents who are 76 and 77 years old and they did absolutely fine. It's a great easy trail.
Cool spot to go for hike with kids. If they don't feel like doing much hiking it's just a small loop down and back up to the top. I like to make it a little longer when I go for run so I connect the trail to the other side of Colima Road and add some more miles to it. Has nice parking lot.
Nice small trail that provides a great view of UCR and Downtown Riverside. I usually hike this when I want to take a picture of a good sunset. Hardly anyone else on the trail, nice and quiet.

MURPHY RANCH PARK REVIEWS
Seriously the best park in all of Whittier and the surrounding area. It's trails may not be as long (a full loop is about 1.6 miles) but the instant you step into Murphy Ranch you are surrounded by nature, civilization disappears. I lived in big basin state park for two years, and now in Whittier this is the only place I will go. It's the best.
Place will be perfect to run or hike in the summer time. Place is surrounded by beautiful tree's. If you want t make a longer run or hike you can always connect trail to the other side on colima. Or can always make a loop and put in those extra miles.
Such an enjoyable park, easily accessible, with picturesque views and trails. Total loop is about 1.7 miles but you can easily extend it to meet your needs. Plenty of parking and trash cans along the trail. Picnic tables at the trailhead.
