Ernie Miller Park & Nature Center is a 116-acre nature preserve featuring trails and an education center with animals, exhibits, and programs. The nature center has live animals and educational displays. In addition, it offers three miles of hiking trails passing through prairies, forests, and a magnificent stream. Hiking trails connect to Olathe bike trails on the west and south of the park. There are paved and unpaved trails, giving the option to take things at your own pace or experience level.

Kill Creek Park is situated in a stunning natural setting covering an 884-acre park. It features four picnic shelters, a swimming beach, a marina, and over 12 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian paths in the park's stunning natural setting. You can explore the paved and non-paved trails with a cool observation tower. The park also includes 1.5 miles of paved, shared-use trails for walking. Kill Creek Park has reservation and rentals facilities.

Here’s The Deal:
Indian Creek Trailhead is located in Olathe, KS. It has 1.5 miles of paved; visitors mainly using this trail for walking. It also has over 12 miles of hiking, a large lake that is excellent for fishing, boating, and a small fishing pond. The trail goes from Leawood (though it connects to the Blue River trails in Missouri) to Hampton Park in Olathe. Indian Creek Trailhead also has open fields for frisbee, soccer, or kite flying.
