TURKEY CREEK SANCTUARY REVIEWS
I needed a day in nature, and Turkey Creek Sanctuary did the trick! Okay, so I didn't spend the whole day (there aren't enough trails to go all day, well, I guess if you walked REALLY SLOW), but it was beautiful and quaint and peaceful. I think the heat kept most of the wildlife at bay (no alligators, though I definitely heeded the sign), but the insects and birds sang while the water gently flowed. Not a day trip, but a serene, peaceful couple of hours away... do it. You'll be glad you did!
Abundant fauna, beautiful and quiet trails, a place to disconnect from the routine, and connect with nature. Perfect for walking, mountain biking, or kayaking. Perfect to enjoy with family and friends! We had a wonderful day with our family. “Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
Excellent place to spend time in contact with nature, disconnect, and relax. Lots of walking trails and photo opportunities. Highly recommended and a must visit in Brevard County. City has put a lot of effort to keep this reserve in pristine condition and accessible to the public.

FRENCHMAN'S FOREST NATURAL AREA REVIEWS
Hubby bought me some hiking boots. We spent weeks waiting for them to arrive. Oh the anticipation. In the meantime, he had found Frenchman's Forest Natural Area and walked it with a friend. I guess he didn't want to take me to a bum place. It was awesome!!! Loved the paths. Some were concrete. Some were covered in mulch. Most were covered by a canopy of trees. Just lovely and peaceful. Highly recommend!
A great little hiking treasure. Some longer 1.4 miles and some shorter .04 miles. Well maintained and a joy to experience some of what Florida has to offer naturally. There is a small covered pavilion for relaxing or reading. Watch for the Gopher Tortoise burrows and butterflies. Not an all day hike by any stretch, but a really nice walk.
This is an amazing park. It really transport you to a different place, each trail is so different from open fields to hidden paths. Serene and tranquil with beautiful trees, using your imagination one can picture fairies or gnoes scurrying around.

AIS TRAIL PARK REVIEWS
Although this trail is pretty small, in comparison to the massive hiking spots I usually go to, it is quite gorgeous! A couple bonus features - there are restrooms here, and even better – you can bring your pups! That’s right! This is a dog friendly, hiking trail. No bicycles allowed. It’s not very long, at a medium to slow pace, you could do the whole thing in probably 30 minutes. There are a couple of nice viewing decks where you might have the opportunity to see a manatee or alligator. I have seen plenty gopher tortoises here, and a few snakes. I strongly suggest spraying yourself with insect repellent to not only avoid ravenous, biting flies and mosquitoes, but ticks as well.
Excellent little trail. Great for beginner hiking enthusiasts. Nice for the kiddos too because its not too long. Sometimes we see manatees. Awesome place for a picnic, a little fishing trip, and just some good ole nature!
A beautiful place to visit in a beautiful place to bring children and families to have fun I would definitely be visiting this Trail again I love everything about it and it is an excellent spot to view nature.
