This nature area spans over 49.5 acres and provides a wide range of recreational options for people of all ages. The trail features easy loop trails, athletic fields, picnic areas, and an accessible play space for families. The Shelby-Utica Kiwanis Club provided funds to purchase and build a wheelchair-accessible, environmentally friendly recycled plastic playscape. The trail also includes several soccer fields, an irrigated baseball diamond, a comfort station, a barrier-free Kiwanis playscape, two picnic shelters, picnic tables, sand volleyball courts, walking/jogging paths, and basketball courts for the convenience of the visitors. Whispering Woods Kiwanis Park also has designated areas for dogs.
