“Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center & Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the largest urban wildlife sanctuaries in Worcester, MA. This sanctuary covers 400 acres of forests, fields, marshes, and streams, with miles of hiking trails overseen by the Mass Audubon Organization. The main loop trail is 3.1 miles long, with an elevation gain of 236 feet, making it generally considered an easy trail route. The trail takes approximately 1 hour and 8 minutes to complete. The sanctuary provides a great hiking experience with beautiful scenery and well-maintained trails. You might spot various bird species, including red-headed woodpeckers, northern flickers, and yellow-rumped warblers.
