“Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary covers 400 acres of forests, fields, marshes, and streams, with miles of hiking trails overseen by the Mass Audubon Organization. The loop trail is 3.1 miles long, with an elevation gain of 236 feet, which is generally considered an easy trail route. The trail takes approximately 1 hour and 8 minutes to complete. It provides a great hiking experience with beautiful scenery. Visitors can also see a variety of bird species, including the red-headed woodpecker, northern flicker, and yellow-rumped warbler. Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary also serves as a visitor information site and offers various educational programs for children and adults.”

BROAD MEADOW BROOK WILDLIFE SANCTUARY REVIEWS

Saw a group of deer running and playing with each other in late November/ early December2024, mid morning on a weekday. I was on the Blue Well Trail.

Trails are beautiful,clean and properly labeled. I definitely recommend a visit if you are new in town or just need a break.

great way to visit quiet trails without leaving the city! very kid friendly.

CASCADING WATERS REVIEWS

Cascade Waters, is a hidden gem for nature lovers. The park boasts beautiful cascading waterfalls and well-maintained trails, perfect for a peaceful hike. Managed by the Greater Worcester Land Trust, this spot offers a serene escape with picturesque views, especially rewarding after a rainfall. Living nearby, I've made it a habit to hike there often since discovering this tranquil oasis. The trails are suitable for all skill levels, and the natural beauty of the area never fails to impress.

Beautiful park and cascades right in Worcester! We love that with a couple minute drive there is this glorious park. Great walking trails, the views of the cascades all is a must when you are in the area. Worth the time to see!.

Hidden gem of Worcester, make sure to come after some rain to ensure the falls have water to flow.

BLACKSTONE RIVER BIKEWAY PARKING REVIEWS

I visited at 630pm to get in a quick walk before dark. There was so much trash, shopping carts and at least 3 encampments close to the trail and it did not feel safe. The trash had been collected mostly into piles indicating people are trying to keep this great trail clean and usable. It is a great trial: wide, accessible, lots of parking, historical and looooong. O love the views of the city and the views of the river. The trial winds close to the water and is enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back, but during the day and with a buddy. Thank you to whoever is working so hard to keep this trail maintained!.

Its nice and relaxing despite the factory on the other side and the highway. Plenty of space for walkers and bikers.

Completely disappointed, I haven’t been here in so long I remember walking in this trail with my family when my boys were younger and this place was awesome. Now not so much the trail looks pretty run down as you enter all you smell is urine and bugs everywhere. We went to take our pup for a walk and decided to come here and it was not what it used to be at all. It doesn’t even feel safe enough like it used to.
