Get into the woods close to home. Easy to access and hop onto paved or dirt trails. Paved trail has places to stop and sit. It’s worth studying their map, as there are several sections to the park. Good for hiking, mountain biking. There are some sweet picnic tables along the creek by Pt Douglas parking. Check out Suburban Pond nearby to see turtles, geese, and other water birds.
We love this park! Very nice, lots of shade for hot days plus waterpark during summer months. Newer playground area has natural element areas and 2 zip lines. There is a 2nd playground that is great for 3-10 year old age. Clean bathrooms, pavilion, plentiful picnic areas and walking trails. We spend 2+ hours easily anytime we visit.
This is our new favorite place to go where we can bring our dogs. I love letting them run free in such a safe space. It's such a well maintained park with tons of walking trails, ponds and doggie bags with trash cans all throughout the park.
