It is a beautiful park located across from the historic Land mark Center. As well as the iconic St.Paul hotel and the majestic Ordway Center for the performing Arts. The fountain and grounds are beautiful during the Spring. The transition into summer and fall is by far 1 of my favorite changes to see. MEARS PARK REVIEWS
Mears Park is a sweet little park right in the heart of Lowertown. There is always classical music playing from the speakers on the band shell. In the summer there are music concerts, food trucks, and festivals. There is a rock river with tiny waterfalls and many flowers and plants growing along the 'river'. It a great place to just sit and read a book, too. In the winter the trees are lit up with colorful lights.
Mears Park offers a beautiful oasis in the city with lush gardens card for by volunteers, a bubbling stream, and benches to rest in the shade or soak in the sun! There is a band stand that hosts live music through out the summer and food trucks can often be found around the edges. With the gorgeous gardens, Mears Park had become a favorite spot for the perfect photographs, whether for a wedding, graduation, or a simple selfie!
Best place to feed the animals in saint paul. They are so used to people and one can enjoy the experience...

It's always beautiful down by the river and looking over at downtown St Paul. My dog enjoyed walking around. The river was high from the recent rain so we had to zig zag around the overflow. Available Parking and porta potty onsite.
Literally my favorite place to go and just think. Especially after sun down. Great place to just go walk and enjoy the day.
